The Dutch Bar has been in business for over 50 years. It's other name, "Chicks", may be unfamiliar to locals who have moved away years ago. I stop in when I am in Monaca visiting family. The manager Julie and I grew up in the same neighborhood and it's always wonderful to sit and reminisce with her. Had the Italian hoagie yesterday. It was really good with a warm hoagie roll and cheese. I planned on eating half and taking half with me. I ended up eating all of it.
Great food, Everything is Very Good. THE Chicken Bacon Ranch Sandwich is to die for, Best in the State/Country. Best sandwich I've ever had. Sandwiches are one of my favorite foods, and I truly found the best one here, all the flavors just MELT in your mouth, it's a comfort food for sure, soft, warm, absolutely delicious.
