“We’ve been many times over the years always get takeout. It was a typical pizza experienced - we always order 2 large cheese almost wherever we go- staff were courteous pizza was warm kids devoured ”
“We ordered for takeout a few rolls, the shrimp katsu, the tom yam seafood soup, and a few others things. Everything was quite delicious. We’ll certainly be back!”
“This place is incredible! We walked in and were warmly greeted from a young gentleman. He gave us wonderful recommendations as to what to order. The food was exceptional. Flavor profiles were perfect with the right amount of herbs and spice! The hummus was so delicious and smooth. The fact that their falafel is gluten free was huge for us. We ordered extra to go and even the next day they were still delicious! We swung in on a road trip and we would absolutely return!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free”
“So we did a late lunch early dinner stop 3:45 an was given the option of chicken or chicken.(sold out on everything else) But when I say it was worth it in every way I mean it!! We got pulled chicken platters with baked beans an sides. The food was stellar and plentiful! I can not say enough good about our first experience. Whenever we are in the area we will be stopping by with our two pups.”
“Everyone was very friendly and food was on point. Portions and seasonings were great. My wife and I visited from out of town and will definitely be back when back in area.”
“Quaint, small, quiet place. Different from your usual, basic, Mexican place. Been there before and will be back.Vegetarian options: most options, taco, burrito, etc. can be had vegetarian.”
“One of my best restaurant experiences. Ever. This is a great family run restaurant that I definitely recommend after my first visit. The service was perfect - attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Made great recommendations and conversation. The food was simply delicious and the portions were substantial. I can’t wait to go back.”
“Great place to go for a treat, for some time out in the fresh air, and to just be in one very beautiful location with the kids’ enjoying time outside in all but the coldest weather ?fun animals, great views and wonderful treatsKid-friendliness: Animals and ice cream need I say more ?”
“Excellent Mexican food! Reminded me of some of the local Mexican restaurant's in San Diego.Update - Just went back after two years since I'm not from the area. The place was packed and the food was really fresh and very good. I've included a photo of my pork carnitas which were exceptional. Really reminds me of the outstanding Mexican food found in SoCal!”
“I come once a month to get the Chicken Pesto Panini and every time I get it’s exactly like the last.. consistency is key and this is why I come to this restaurant. The owner has consistency. Thank you for the great service and ”
“My husband and I have been a few times, and this past time we had the pleasure of our cook being Jacob. He came out as a break, and we expressed how great the food was and how flavorful it is and every single thing on the menu literally is fantastic especially the French onion soup with the beef tenderloin, and my husband had the duck on the appetizers which he says was fantastic and for entrées I've had the crabcakes And my husband has had the scallops again. Everything hears fantastic. The service is great but I would recommend a reservation, but this is our favorite restaurant in Waynesboro or Chambersburg. He was so kind as to thank us for being there he gave us a quart of free chili, and that again fantastic!! Thank you, and we will be regulars lol but serious!!! I wish I had photos to add, but it really doesn't matter because it would not even do it justice. You have to try the food, and I have read one of the reviews where it said the food was bland, and that they would not be back which is outrageous and I think just maybe they were, having a bad day because the food here is like I said wonderful & is VERY flavorful!!!”
“Great coffee. Relaxing atmosphere. Friendly staff. A great place to catch up with friends over a cup of coffee and a snack. Just went there for the first time but will be back!”
“We travel from Frederick, MD. Everything was Delicious!!!!? Tasted like HOME!! The creamed corn breakfast sandwich is DELICIOUS!!!! It was worth the 1 hr trip. We will return with more people. Great service and wonderful family owned cafe.”
“Was nice to find. The good: Their tap water is first rate. Must be filtered or a really good supply. Sounds odd to say, but it affects the overall tastes: The rice was 100 out of 100, vegetables were carefully selected and expertly prepared. Salt level was moderate and I tasted no added MSG. Best tofu with garlic sauce ever. The Lo mein was good, but would be better if it were Chowed in the wok some more. (Make it a little smoky.) Prices are mostly moderate, though you can run it up. Portions size is good. The not so good: The dumplings seemed pre-packaged/frozen. They are trying to walk the line between authentic and American style cuisine. There are many authentic dishes that are popular in the US, such as Peking duck, cold noodles with sesame, Kung Pao chicken as examples. And don't put cabbage in the twice cooked pork! Or give us a choice of authentic or American style. They brought us donuts for dessert which were amazing.”
“Brio, and it's staff, make for a warm and comfortable atmosphere. They're always helpful is explaining a drink and exactly what's in it.I love their monthly flights as an excuse to try something that I normally wouldn't drink.Infact one of my favorite goto drinks came from a past flight. A brambleberry latte. I would have never thought raspberry and blueberry would taste so good in coffee.Parking: Sometimes there isn't an open spot right out front or even on the side. However, the free parking lot is right off 316 and a nice short stroll.”
“The food and service were excellent. I’m just in town for a few weeks but I will be back here again and again. I ordered the half chicken with fried plantains and chaufa which were spot on each time!Parking: Plenty of parking spots available.”
“Two hungry firefighters stopped by on the way from Jersey to West Virginia. Detoured off the highway to eat at this hidden gem. Awesome brisket and friendly owner- highly recommend!”
“Chambersburg’s best kept secret! Lotus Bowls & Juicery has a huge menu of smoothie bowls, incredible cold pressed juices, killer smoothies and an amazing selection of grab n go foods in the fridge! They make eating fresh and healthy on the go a breeze without ever compromising on flavor or quality. Be sure to try the Loaded Lotus, Majik Mermaid juice and PB&J smoothie with added protein! Their juice cleanses are the best cleanses I’ve ever done, I love to do one every few months! The owners and staff are awesome and have created such a wonderful, inviting and relaxing environment! We love Lotus!!!”
“Portion size is always great, prices are even better. Fast and clean! Highly recommend if you are looking for a place that everyone can find something they each like.”
“my first time here to get coffee and i am picky with my coffee. if u are like me and like ur coffee sweet/not liking the bitterness and like caramel, get the caramel iced coffee and tell them you like it sweet-they totally got the memo! best caramel iced coffee i’ve ever had hands down.”
“A rare find of excellent choices for food. We tried the special: machete and tamales. Both taste amazing! The drink that contains rice and cinnamon complement the food so well! Chocoflan is much better than I expected, egg custard tastes so creamy and rich. Everything we had is outstanding! We’ll be back when we’re in town next time!”
“Great coffee. Great vibes. When you walk in you’re greeted by the smell of whatever’s fresh out of the oven and the friendliest of smiles. The cortado is perfection, and the pastries are worth every penny.((I haven’t tried the flavored drinks, but with in-house made syrups I can’t imagine they’d be any less fantastic!))The atmosphere is cozy and clean, with a pulse of artsy locality.Definitely worth a visit and maybe staying a while to chat.☕️ ”
“I went there for the first time today, and words can't express enough how wonderful it was. The atmosphere is so cozy and has a local loved feel. The food is so amazing, We had the Pork ramen, and Chicken ramen, and each bite was a taste of heaven. Absolutely will be back.”
“I don't know that there is a better Italian place in Chambersburg to eat -- period.I have never had anything bad from here and I have eaten here many times over the past year. Once my wings were dry, once. The pizza, calzones, soups, sandwiches, fries, wings, it's all delicious. At this point, I might be keeping the place in business myself. This is a must for anyone looking for a good meal.”
“Just had an amazing Turkey sub! Best sub I've had in a long time! Bread was delicious and the sub is huge! Definitely big enough to split! ? I will be back to try more food for sure!”
“Everything was absolutely impeccable. The booth was comfy. My tea never ran out. The server was incredibly attentive and on task with a cheery smile. I got the steak ranchero, and it was absolutely fanominal! Also, the salsa was perfect, and the chips warm.”
“Great foodVery friendly serviceWe got potstickers for an appetizer which were fantastic. We got Korean taco, chief special, beef ramen soup, and bibimbap. We all tasted each other's and all enjoyed each other's along with our own. Even my kids who were hesitant at first coming here ended up enjoying it a lot.”
“Insanely delicious pizza loaded with toppings. Never under or over cooked.Salads are made with ice burg lettuce, but always very fresh and loaded with toppings. Wings are awesome, fries not bad. Meat used for cheesesteaks is very tender and flavorful.Service is good, although we always get take-out. Food always hot and fresh.Prices are reasonable for the quality. Sub prices are a little high I think, considering there are lots of places to get subs in the area.Owners are extremely nice and appreciative of their customers.”
“We get takeout at least a couple times a week- so I don’t think I have to say too much more than that ? we like to patronize local businesses, my husband loves their sandwiches, the staff are always very nice on the phone, never curt or rude. As long as they are here we will keep patronizing - very tasty ”
“Visit The Mill Cafe at Penn State Mont Alto on Facebook at : Parking is a good walking distance down a hill from the café. Be careful where you park as you may get a ticket without a Student parking pass. Read the signs. Then be prepared to climb stairs after a pleasant walk on the campus to reach the Café.”
