“Let me tell you about the dough... I never had pizza with perfect best homemade dough. Frank really takes time to perfection his dough. It is not to thick or to thin either. It's literally perfect. Then the sauce doesn't give me heartburn at all. Which is great for me since I have GERD. He also puts the right amount of toppings on which everyone knows I love a good topping. “I got the buffalo wing pizza. When i go to pizza places this is my go to but normally its a mild hot sauce and some ranch with grilled chicken on top. This was more like an actual bbq sauce and was the first time id had it like this. It was still great pizza cooked well just not what i expected taste wise but that doesnt make it bad. I got mozzarella sticks as a side and they were DELICIOUS! Also the waitress was awesome and my buddy Vasily got a cheesesteak and loved it! Id def come back and try more different stuff 🤙“

“We stopped at this restaurant on our trip to PA, and it ended up being one of the most surprising meals we’ve had in a while.

It was clear they take what they do seriously.

The food quality was genuinely impressive everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and made with care.

The portions were huge, much bigger than what most places serve, and every single one of us had leftovers to take home.

I’ve seen a few reviews mention the prices, but considering the amount of food you get and the quality, it feels completely reasonable.

One thing that really stood out was how transparent the whole place is. The restaurant is run by a husband and wife who both work in the kitchen, and the kitchen is completely visible from where you sit. Which isn’t something you see often anymore.

It’s obvious they take pride in keeping everything extremely clean and organized. You don’t see clutter, you don’t see mess just a clean, well-run workspace where you can tell they’ve been doing this a long time.

The service was friendly without being pushy, the food came out hot, and everything tasted like someone actually cared about making it right.

It’s the kind of place you appreciate more after you’ve eaten there, because you realize how rare it is to find a restaurant that focuses on doing the basics really well.

For a stop that wasn’t planned, it ended up being a great find.

If you’re in the area or passing through, it’s absolutely worth trying! We would definitely come back when we’re in town!

“Today, me, and my grandfather, Mr. Dennis Scicchitano tried a new restaurant that we never went to before called Subs N Stuff in GORDON PA I had a pizza cheeseburger. and my grandfather had a California cheeseburger we shared large breaded mushrooms drinks and it was very delicious and inexpensive Will definitely be back again. “Cesari's has always been my #1 stop for convenience & it was my personal preference & since they closed, decided to give good ol faithful a try since it was a family favorite (extended family) when I was a kid so I knew it shouldn't disappoint. Now, I KNOW WHY it was one of their favorite spots!I got 2 orders of the 1/2 of a chicken for takeout (we'd always eat in the cafeteria when I'd go with my family). It literally lasted me 2 days & a family member ate the rest- that's how much meat you got! It was juicy and tender- MAJOR plus, bc I HATE chicken but how can you pass up that price & honestly, done right (such as here), it's yummy! I enjoyed the stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy. I got the mixed veggies (only complaint I have about that: hard gristle pieces of broccoli stem mixed in. Thankfully I caught it before I ate it & I was at home when I did, bc I WOULD have thrown up). It was only like $20 for 2 meals, the woman at the register for me a foil wrap for my rolls (so they wouldn't get soggy) and gave me a bag so I could hold them (which a lot of the food places do NOT offer!)The boy and girl duo who were working the food counter were very sweet and courteous as well! “Shamokin Pa store has very nice employees, first. 2nd, Food was good although we never had pizza. The cinnamon twist bread w the apple mixture was really good. The apples r small cubes in a filling type glaze to dip the cinn bread in or spread on top. I believe it was 4 dollars for a nice amount that 2 can share. Hoagie was ok for flavor and not strong at all flavor wise. The pasta w alfredo sauce n fresh vegetables was very good n I would get it again. 8 dollars. Chicken wings were meaty. We shared everything n the shared opinion was everyone was happy with the stop. It was our first time eating this food.“
