“Had an amazing few days enjoying the Rising Sun. I was in town visiting family and had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast service, dinner, and late night drinks all on separate occasions over the course of a few days. The food was phenomenal and would hold its own to any Philadelphia eatery. Even better was the quality of service. From hosts to wait staff we never felt neglected. The manager, Alex, also checked in on numerous occasions to make sure things were up to par. A+ from start to finish and looking forward to our return.“

“Bartender meant business but in the best way and drinks were great, the only food we ate was the wings which were delicious, crispy and the perfect amount of spice, however, they were some of the smallest wings I’ve ever seen in my life. Must have been some sort of hen or duck-chicken hybrid but tasty non the less. We WILL be back to try the entrees they looked great coming out the kitchen.“
“What a really, really nice place!! We were at the Gem show at the Lebanon Expo Center, and googled places to eat - Lebanon Gin Mill popped up. Looked great and boy was it! We were greeted by a couple local guys who let us know you could walk any direction around the very large bar. There's definitely a comfortable, at-home vibe here, no matter where you're from. All the menu options are very well priced for what you get. The cocktails are delicious and also reasonably priced - great value for your dollar here. We sat at the bar close to the "stage" which is in the corner of the bar area. They have live music and Sundays are "Sunday Jams" from 2-5pm. Jessica Batz was the singer and she was great - lots of classic rock/folk songs. Jill was the bartender and she took expert care of us. She was very busy slinging drinks but still would stop by and talk with us and make us feel welcome. She was very proud of her tenure at the restaurant, and enjoyed her job. Her kindness to two strangers was refreshing. They have an awesome beer selection with some stuff you're not going to find just anywhere. I had an apricot sour that was delicious. We ordered the following food: 6 old bay wings, 6 "sweet fire" wings (their signature sauce), Burnt Ends (on top of a bed of blue-cheese coleslaw, just a hint), and the salmon platter - blackened on top of bacon and brussels sprouts with a honey-dijon sauce on the side. The wings and burnt ends were so good we forgot to take pictures; just of the salmon platter. Jill's cocktails were excellent - her lavender collins is so yummy. Also don't miss the smoked peach old-fashioned. All in all, we had an amazing time. This place flies under the radar, but shouldn't. “From their creative menu to their top tier ingredients, Black Gryphon is a must visit spot for any locals AND out of towner’s. Their fantastic “Chocolate Hot” is extremely noteworthy. From the several dishes I’ve tried, each one has been a home run. Be sure to get your burger “Super Saiyan Style”! Beautiful spot/people, will be back!“
“This is a members(men only) only club. Once a member, you may bring your wife/girlfriend whenever you go.The place is great to hang out and have a couple of drinks. The cheapest drinks you will find but that do not deflect from the service, which is incredible.Stop in a see how to become a member!!!!Does not serve food but does have snacks and sandwiches to buy.“
“Everything I've tried has been delicious and fresh. The only exception would be the steak. I've tried several dishes with steak (tortellini, tacos) and often the steak is chewy where you have to spit it out because you cant chew it.“
“We moved into the area about 2 years ago and originally even when we were scouting the area to move, we stopped here often and quickly realized that this place is definitively a local gem and an amazing establishment….for how many times we have been here, I can’t believe this is our first time writing a review. All of the food is great and we have tried a bunch of it from lunch to dinner, the weekend specials always add some variability to the menu and the taps are always changing. We have two small children and everyone that has ever served us has always been so great and patient with them…and perhaps the best part is that it’s locally owned and operated….we will continue to support this organization and the people that make it what it is indefinitely. This is the almond dusted salmon which was the weekend special which didn’t stand a chance once I got into it.“

“I had no idea this place was here. A friend recommended it while we were in the area as a lunch spot. It was still Fall and the weather was amazing so we were seated at a table in their amazing ourdoor space. It's so prettty; I felt like I was on vacation. The menu had a lot of really good looking options and we struggled to choose. We started with some wings. They were exceptional--- crunchy, juicy and well sauced. Our friend ended up with a spicy chicken sandwich. I had an open face beef sandwich with gravy and french fries. My husband had a chicken Caesar wrap. Everything was beautiful to look at and delicious. Service was a little slow, but reasonable. The atmosphere made it alright. I hope to get back there soon.“
