Nestled outside of Reading, in the heart of Shillington, this Rita's joint is the go-to spot for a frosty treat that hits the spot. The real cherry on top of this frozen fiesta was Allison herself. Not only was she a master at crafting the perfect ice concoction, but her friendly demeanor and infectious smile made the whole experience truly memorable. She even posed for a picture with me, adding an extra dash of superhero flair to my Rita's adventure. Thanks for being chill, Allison. Whether you're a local looking for a sweet escape or a crime fighter patrolling the hustling and bustling Lancaster Ave, Rita's Italian Ice is a must-visit destination. “Choose it over others nearby because of reviews and needed a ramen fix on my way through Reading. The number of beers on tap was a good surprise although the food took over half an hour to arrive even though there were only four other people there. I believe it wasn’t a constant issue but just a minor kitchen prep issue that day. Overall the food was delicious the service was fine and I would certainly go back in the future.”

“Just discovered this Vietnamese restaurant in Reading—I have no idea how I never heard of it before, considering they’ve apparently been open for a few years. Lately, my go‑to Vietnamese spots have been Saigon Banh Mi in Exeter and Saigon Eats in King of Prussia, but A Ha Eggroll was a great find. The food quality, portion sizes, and prices were all impressive. The shredded pork in the vermicelli bowl was cooked perfectly with a great grilled flavor. I can’t wait to go back for another meal from A Ha!”

“Long time take out customer, first time dine-in recently. Their pizza reminds me of a pizza place I used to go to in Manhattan, crispy crust with the little pepperonis that curl up real nice! Their #14 special hoagie is AMAZING. Not many places can come up with a sandwich of that quality. Inside is very clean and the staff/customer service is the best, curtious and fast!!! A nice family owned business that cares about the future and legacy of that restaurant.”

But somehow the service was even better. Shoutout to Stella, our server, who absolutely made the night. Attentive, friendly, funny, and on top of everything without ever hovering. She handled our table like a pro and cooked some of our food for us too! , even while I was clearly having the time of my life and probably making a bit of a spectacle of myself. Every single bite gave me chills and made the hairs on my body stand straight up!!! Please do yourself a favor and order the tostadas de ceviche…it was sent from heaven and delivered by angels!!! The tacos, lengua, pollo asada, and chorizo were so good and FRESH! The bistec (steak) burrito was packed full of flavor! And the cubano sandwich was juicy and delicious!!!
