“I have been going to Chen's for the past couple years and it has never once disappointed. I am not even vegitarian or vegan, but this is without question the best chinese food i have ever had. The flavoring along with the way the food is cooked is just next level.Kid-friendliness: The owner asks about my daughter every time i go in to pick up an order and is always so welcoming when we come in as a family.”

“Great fun and excellent smoothie! The only downside is that it can be tricky to get in at that busy intersection. The staff must do energy shots all day. They are in the zone ! “I came here for the first time and was very pleased, the spicy shrimp appetizer was delicious and the lasagna was also. We got a massive sundae for my boyfriend’s birthday but took it home because the portions definitely filled us up. One appetizer, two small pasta portions, one veggie split between 3 people was more than enough. Our server Ron was very helpful and attentive. Plus the unique decor makes for a really neat atmosphere.”

“My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our Saturday night out at Meraki Manor. We sat at the bar with Kearstin, and several "regulars" like Ed, and a nice mature couple from Geigertown. All were very welcoming.The food was fantastic. We shared Stuffed Mushrooms, Stuffed Shrimp, Scallops, and an amazing Filet. Got some Maryland Bisque, and Lemon Cake to go. Again, fantastic ! Best, best, food and atmosphere we have enjoyed in quite a while. Loved it ! Also, the owners, and the rest of the staff were equally as friendly. Can't wait to go back !!”

In terms of Italian, there are other places I'd go for a pasta dish or something related, but for Pizza there really aren't many options that are better along the Avenue - give it a try!”

A great place for a casual lunch, though the restaurant itself has a fairly small dining area, so take out may be best for dinner. The employees are nice and speedy, and occasionally Sal will host special events, like pasta night.”

“We had my son’s 3rd birthday party here recently and everything was amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful, the space was clean, and the ice cream was amazing. We were allowed to move around tables and hang things on the wall which is really rare when you rent a place for a party. All the guests commented on how amazing this place was. We will definitely be back and will try to have my son’s party here next year.”

“Top notch and quick service despite it being St. Patty's day. I had the Boxty, Corned Beef Hash, and The Lucky Charm martini. They did NOT skimp on the spirits. It was a great time with my girl friends for brunch and will definitely be back for their regular brunch offerings.”

I love a local feeling bar, and this really hit the spot. Servers were amazing and very knowledgeable, in addition to the place feeling very cozy and intimate--it may be hard to get seating on a busy night, FYI!Three of us got cocktails (all very balanced and super delicious), and one of us got a local beer. Honestly, I wish I had this near me! The cocktails are what you'd expect to pay at a cocktail place ($11-15), but they were all worth it! If you're ever in West Reading on the Avenue, you should really check out the Bar Cart! It's a must visit.”

“Went on Saturday March 30 with three adults, Two Toddlers and an Infant. The host and waiter were extremely friendly and personable! Can’t say enough about how good of an experience we had! Staff was kind and accommodating to our party and the food was delicious! Great place and I will definitely be returning and recommending this place again and again!!Kid-friendliness: Thy have high chairs and a chair to put your infant seat on! All the staff was mindful of the children and very kind, plus they gave the toddlers crayons!Wheelchair accessibility: They have a wheelchair ramp / baby stroller ramp, and a huge parking lot!”
