we love coming heregood food and pie.
just a suggestion potato soup needs some more potatoes in it or maybe in serving it make sure there is some potatoes in the cup .I had 3 pieces .and all white flour tasting broth.
when thickening with flour cook it so it doesn't have a flour taste. not much flavor either
Met with a good friend of mine this morning here for a bite to eat. The ambiance of walking into a well kept updated yet old school feeling diner really set the mood. The greeting, seating, hospitality and all around treatment was unmatched. our food was served up hot, fresh and delicious. We even met Erick whom runs this establishment and sent us away with their everyday homemade cabbage rolls with mashed potatoes covered in their homemade sauce. The hot meatloaf is amazingly delicious, served with a great portion thickly sliced between two slices of bread, usually with mashed potatoes but also available with French fries, all smothered in homemade gravy. The waitstaff continuously checks on customers, refilling their beverages. The restaurant is very clean and neat. The pies, especially the coconut cream pie, are wonderful. While the pecan pie was not to the liking of some customers, the staff was kind in addressing the issue. The staff is pleasant and efficient, having orders ready for pickup.
