The staff was very apologetic and kind. It reminded me that genuine mistakes can happen and it’s all about how we make up for them when they do. “I went into the store to place a take out order. The staff was courteous. While I waited, another customer returned and said she was not pleased with her order. “It does not matter how many places we try, the Catty Corner is our go to neighborhood restaurant. It is not dark and dingy like Race Street, there isn't a young bartender with severe control issues like Hammerhead (she is really MEAN), and you don't feel like you are in a loud cave like Grove Street ALL while being ignored. The employees all say hello and smile (ALL ~ kitchen and counter staff, drivers, waitresses and bartenders, the owners). They consistently work together to ensure a satisfying experience and the food is great. Even the outside dj's are personable and bring a positive energy. More places should model the Catty Corner.“

“We were seated quickly and our server was friendly and helpful. Our drinks and appetizer came fast and our salads were served in a good interval of time. I think we waited for our entrees longer than I expected, but there were a number of larger groups in the restaurant, so maybe that was the reason. The service is great, the owner Jerry and his family are a delight to speak with and helpful. We felt like part of the fam since they are from Brooklyn, NYC. The sides are good too (even though I'm a big fan of crinkle cut fries, theirs are pretty good)...onion rings are yummy and reheat well. Steak sandwich was luster and you definitely need to order extra meet or the roll will overshadow the filling, but I don't go to a pizza shop for a steak sandwich! “It was our first time here. When we arrived at 6 on a Friday, it was about 1/4 full. When we left at 8, it was full. The food is good quality, and made in house. I had the lobster ravioli in a blush cream sauce. It was delicious. Lots of lobster and the sauce is creamy and delicious. The ravioli were homemade and cooked al dente. My husband had spaghetti and meatballs with the house made marinara sauce. It was very fresh tasting without any sweetness. Entrees come with warm Italian bread and butter and a house salad. I prefer salad in a wide bowl or on a plate. It as a delicious salad but the bowl it came in was too small. They make their own dressing and the balsamic vinaigrette was excellent. Bryne was our waitress. She was alone in the dining room and excellent. She timed everything perfectly and was very friendly and efficient. We recommend this restaurant. It’s a bit out of the way, but worth it. They are BYOB. Their prices are very reasonable and the portion enough for at least 2 meals.“

Now I haven't eaten meat in YEARS, I'm proud of that and also my body doesn't accept it well. But luckily i only ate 2 small bites but i didnt get as sick as if I ate the whole thing but i did get a bad stomach ache. Now I couldnt call it was late and the next day was pouring rain and at that point even tho I live across the street lom I'm like screw it I gave the sandwich to my niece and called it a loss.
