“My husband and I went to Meadowlark Bakery and Cafe this morning after learning that they hosted a Thanksgiving dinner for those who needed a place to go. We try to support places that support those in the community and do good. We’ve been there before for coffee and pastries, which are amazing, but we never had any other food. We have been missing out! We both got a breakfast sandwich and they were amazing! My biscuit was light and buttery, our eggs were perfectly fried, and both sandwiches had generous amounts of breakfast meat and came with tots. They had a wonderful Santa for the kids and a nice warm enclosed area for eating. Meadowlark, thank you for being a part of our community and helping those in need. It does not go unnoticed and we will absolutely be back to support you, your business, delicious food, and the good you are doing!“

She shared the significance of the day today as we indulged in the delicious crepes. My daughter confirmed the Nutella crepe was the best she ever had.. and she’s a tough critic, too. “I recently purchased cream filled donuts, cherry crumb, pie, and apple caramel walnut pie. Everything and I mean everything is delicious.! The cherry pie reminds me of my mom’s homemade. I thoroughly enjoyed the cream donuts. It’s my favorite donut from when I was a child. Many bakeries have closed over the years so it’s hard to find one that meets my expectations. “Located inside Flemington Amish Farmers Market. Simply fantastic baked goods. These folks and the pretzel stand across from them are all the reasons you need to stop here and take away some goodies. Only negative is limited hours of operation. Thursdays thru Saturdays. This is grab and go.“

“I just had to stop in. I've been wanting to check it out. It's a brand new store. The interior is bright/cheerful, upscale, super clean, & contemporary. I luv the decor/ambiance. Omigosh, the choices are extensive. It was hard to decide what to buy. I bought a sweet potato bread, a hot dog stuffed croissant & a cinnamon apple pastry. Everything was d'lish!!! Yummm!!! You can eat in or take out. I had my purchases bagged to-go. I thought the prices were reasonable & affordable. They do accept credit cards & there's plenty of free parking. I'll definitely return. Generous portions, very good food, and the staff is willing to be flexible for those with dietary concerns. The building is historic and you can eat inside or outside. Love taking a walk across the Lumberville (walking) Bridge to New Jersey.“

“Only been here one time. Got a turkey sandwich which was very good. The side of potato salad was not very good. It had the most hard hitting vinegar taste I've ever experienced. This might have been just a one time deal so I'm still giving 5 stars. The side came with the sandwich so it wasn't that big of a deal“
