“My wife and I consider ourselves foodies.. We often find ourselves disappointed when visiting restaurants in Pittsburgh.However, this was not the case when visiting Jillians. We were more than impressed. Jillian's can compete with some of the best restaurants in Shadyside and downtown Pittsburgh.The menu was exceptional. The dishes were creative, and the quality of ingredients was impressive. Our server (Jillian) was authentic, pleasant, charming, and informative.It is refreshing to have a dining experience like this.This place is a diamond in the rough.We will be recommending this to our family and friends.Parking: We had no problem parking on a Thursday.“

During Lent had a fish sandwich/combo meal that was breaded cod on a bun, with fries, creamy Mac and cheese and home made dill/caper sauce instead of tartar sauce and a drink. Fish was moist and tasty as was the sauce. Good value meal. Blackboard has quite a few food options in addition to what's listed on website. Friendly owners Will visit again“

“Our wedding was in October and was amazing. The Chef and I helped make it happen. People are still talking about how fantastic the food was. They were very reasonable and you definitely get a lot of food for what you’re paying for. We loved how wonderful the staff was and how easy they were to work with. Nikki was very good at getting back in touch with me whenever I asked her a question about anything. The tasting room was so clean and beautiful that we knew right then that they were the right people for us. During our wedding the staff was wonderful and the food was absolutely delicious. From appetizers to the main entrees, everything was amazing! The only thing I wish was different was that they had two buffet lines instead of one. Especially, for the amount of people we had. It would’ve made dinner go a lot quicker. But if you’re looking for an amazing wedding caterer, you need to hire The Chef & I!! You will not be disappointed!“

“Couldn’t say better things about this restaurant! The staff was incredible, food was impeccable and the entire experience was 10/10. This is a hidden gem in Monroeville. If you’re tired of the same old food options and restaurants, you have to try Ebbie’s! There is also a beautiful secondary room that would be great for hosting a gathering. Definitely recommend the Chicken Philly wrap, fries were hot and well seasoned, kids meal portion was huge. Price was extremely cheap for all the food we got!!“
