“I had an event at the Verona tap room last night and it was amazing. Jennifer and the rest of the staff were so accommodating. We booked the tap room for 30 people and had plenty of space. They spun my vinyl records, played a movie that went along with the theme of my party and created a signature cocktail for my guests. “My husband and I stopped by yesterday with our young autistic son. We gave the staff a heads up that eating inside may or may not work depending on our son and how he was able to handle it. The people were so kind, understanding, and accommodating and did everything they could to try to make our visit possible. From giving us the choice of where we'd feel most comfortable to sit, to offering cartoons and crayons. They even made up a batch of fries before we came in so our son would have something to eat as soon as we sat down. Unfortunately we weren't able to eat inside but we did get our food to go and it was delicious. Being the parent of an autistic child can be challenging, and it makes all the difference in the world to feel like there are people who care. They absolutely made our day. Thank you so so much.“

“Absolutely obsessed.  Homemade, house-smoked barbeque.   The owners and staff are extremely sweet and friendly.  They do have indoor and outdoor seating which is super nice in the warmer months.  They do close in the one area for additional seating and have heaters so it’s not too cold! The flavor, spices and way the items were prepared with absolutely delicious.  The meat melts right in your mouth.  Tried the wings- three jumbo smoked whole wings. They are slow cooked & flash fried. The pulled pork sandwich was incredible- slow smoked pork, tossed in a house Carolina cider mop piled on top of a Breadworks bun and Pittsburgh pickles. The brisket is a slow smoked Texas style brisket and we tried that on top of the creamy Mac and cheese. WOW- the brisket was so tender. And of course had to try their corn bread. Which came hot and totally hit the spot.“

“First time at Acclimation, I like it. Right on the river, great views.
Has a food menu, but wasn’t hungry so can’t comment on the food.
I had two beers: Lawn Bubble 5% hazy, and an Icebound, listed as a cold IPA at 6.8%.
Both were decent for the hazy style that I prefer.
I will definitely be back. Looking forward to hanging on the deck overlooking the river.“

“The owner was extremely friendly and made me feel welcomed. I told him I was in town visiting and that Wilkinsburg is my hometown but I live in FL. He was so kind and asked about how we did during the recent hurricane that had just passed. We exchanged information because I told him he’d be a huge hit here in central Florida. “This is my partner and I's favorite coffee shop in all of Pittsburgh. Every drink I've ordered has been delicious, and their breakfast burrito is amazing as well. Never a miss with this place. The baristas are friendly and efficient, and the owner is a great guy - friend of my partner. The atmosphere is unlike any other in the city, eclectic and maximalist, yet very cozy. There's a reason that every time we go most of the tables, indoor and outdoor, are filled up! I've recommended this place to countless people, and will continue to do so. We probably come here at least once a week, and are always looking for excuses to stop by and get a tasty drink.

“Food is excellent every time we eat here and the staff is always friendly. The atmosphere is nice, but the place is so spacious that it makes it feel like they are empty. Overall, they are probably the best Chinese takeout in the Holiday Park/ Monroville area.“

Service is a bit slow, but food made up for it.
The fried Brussels sprouts were recommended by our waitress. They’re good, fried and tossed in a sweet chili sauce.
I got the grilled chicken sandwich, pretty good, but I liked the fries better.“
