“We stop in once a week. Sometimes we eat there and sometimes we call and pick up. The atmosphere is fabulous. If we ever do have to wait for our food, it’s totally worth it. If my husband and I are together we sit and have wine while we wait. They are all very friendly! If we get take out, we always get extra so we can have leftovers, which are always delicious. We reheat the pizza in the toaster oven, it’s amazing. We also love the desserts there! It’s just a great spot and we love it! I’ve never once been disappointed with any of their service or food.”

“Had a great meal at ugly dumpling, greeted with great service right away! Service was personable and accommodating to my stroller and a high chair for toddler. The establishment is extremely clean and beautifully designed. Waitress was helpful in assisting with menu, family style small plates, 3-4 plates for a couple suggested. We loved the dumplings with spicy sauce on side and sesame noodles. So fun to see everyone working on hundreds of beautiful, delicate, and delicious dumplings! 🥟 thank you ugly dumpling team!”

My go-to bowl is the Tropical Açaí bowl…and a close 2nd is the Pura Vida Açaí bowl.

The only thing I could say negative…and it isn’t a negative at all, is I wish they had a smaller size bowl available. The bowl is almost a meal in itself. If there was a bowl that had 50-60% the size of the current bowl, it would be a great desert.

“Tried this establishment on Fathers Day looking for good BBQ. Upon entering we were offered a tasting since it was our first time there. The tasting was good so we continued on ordering and our food was also very good. Good BBQ and sides.”

“I first found Nottingham Inn through Yelp one day after leaving Longwood Gardens and craving ice cream. The overall charm of the place grabbed me upon arrival, but the delicious ice cream made me return. The next visit included a meal that was delicious and gave me home-cooked comfort vibes. Nottingham Inn is now my go-to for every Longwood Gardens visit. I often stop for lunch on the way up and then dessert on the way home to Baltimore. 5 stars is an understatement!”

“A wonderful place with a healthy variety of food so there's something for everyone. They're very accommodating with the options— not everything is vegan, but it feels like at least half of the menu is, and if it isn't then it can be made vegan. Menu items are conveniently and clearly labeled so you know what is vegan, gluten-free, or has nuts, among other things, and I can't stress enough how much I really wish every place did this. The seitan wings and loaded totchos are some of my favorites on the appetizer end- the "wings" in particular feel nice and juicy and have a great texture that I've been trying and failing to replicate at home. They have a really killer plant burger too known as the California Gardenator, which for me is always a big +10 points especially seeing how many places' "plant options" will just be an Impossible Patty; they also have delicious and flavorful tacos made with soy curls. The location unfortunately has the same "issue" as the other Main Street locations in Newark, which is that's there not a great way to quickly park and go even if you just want to pick something up (and all the parking spots on Main Street are metered because of course they need to capitalize off of the UD kids) but the actual building is a gorgeous establishment with great indoor/outdoor seating and friendly staff. Some may disagere but I found the prices pretty reasonable for the quality and it feels like the portions are plentiful— I've underestimated how much food they give you a few times.”

“Are at the North East location for the second time tonight. We had great service at the bar from Maria. The food was delicious. Guacamole was so fresh tasting and we loved the tamales, enchiladas, and tacos. The margaritas were amazing, we enjoyed looking up all the tequilas offered and look forward to trying more of them next time! Thank you Casa Mezcal for a great date night. We are so happy you are in North East!!”
