“We have Gallo’s regularly for dine in / take out. This time we bought a pizza, garlic bread, and a chicken nugget kids meal. All of the food was excellent. The pizza dough is my favorite, clearly made in house. I would definitely recommend if you need some good inexpensive food for the family.”

I’m from Maryland and LOVE snowballs. i I was told that they had a walk up location last year, but due to staffing not available at this point for this year. I was asked my address and they would send the truck around when they are in McSherrystown. Well tonight was the night! I am a happy camper! Thank You Kona Ice for making my night.”

I love the decor, a pink Cadillac booth, Giant records wrapped in neon lights on the ceiling, retro soda shop decor, all with a 50's musical theme. The restaurant was very clean and the food was just right. It's a bit out of my way but I'm definitely going back....a lot! You've got to check it out!”

“My family and I were coming back from a weekend away and had very hungry children in the cars. We went through the drive thru. The first car was paying for the car behind. They had no issues, whatsoever with handling this, the food was hot, fresh, the wait was reasonable, the prices were good. As a former manager of Wendco, I can say, with no hesitation that the staff that was serving this afternoon about 12:30 was on point, polite, and appreciated. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Food is always your typical McDonald's food. I haven't had any issues with my meals when I go there. There have been a few times when I've gone that older folks don't understand the kiosks when ordering a meal inside and with only one counter register open it made a few very confused,some even walked out after attempting to order and failing. The singular register and no body at the counter waiting to take your order half the time is very odd compared to how McDonald's used to be. There are no big menu boards, and with only one register to pay cash at that's half the time, not attendee makes it confusing to order.”

“We recently discovered Oak, just a half mile from our home, and it’s truly a hidden gem in an area with limited dining options. From the moment we walked in, the experience was exceptional. Our bartender, Zach, was welcoming, knowledgeable, and offered fantastic recommendations—including the Steak and Eggs for brunch, which exceeded all expectations. The steak was cooked to perfection and paired beautifully with the eggs—a dish I had never tried before but will definitely be ordering again. My husband enjoyed the BLT Eggs Benedict, which was equally impressive. The thick-cut bacon, perfectly poached eggs, and flavorful hollandaise made for an unforgettable dish. The service throughout our visit was outstanding, and when asked for recommendations, Zach confidently told us that everything on the menu is great—and from what we tasted, we absolutely believe it. If we could give Oak a 10 out of 10, we would. For anyone in the area or just passing through, we highly recommend stopping by. Oak is a standout dining experience, and we’ll definitely be returning soon!”
