I’ve been in several times and Bobby Chez Newtown never disappoints! Their jumbo lump crab cakes are hands down the best! Friendly service and top quality food every time. They make it so easy to take home for a quick, delicious meal. So glad they’re in Newtown!

New restaurant in Newtown. I ordered 4 chicken tenders and small mac/cheese. The tenders was big, enough for my lunch and dinner, 2 for lunch and 2 for dinner. Today was before Mother's Day. After I went back to my car after pickup mobile order, two cars waiting. Busy day for restaurants and parking.

Food is consistently delicious. Favorites include crab cakes (all variations), flounder filets, potato salad & mac/cheese. Only wish they offered their potato salad on all days & not just weekends.
UPDATE: To my surprise, their awesome potato salad was available on a Thursday when I happened to wander in. Proprietor, Keith, is super welcoming.

Did not realize this location is the only location either Sunday hours. My first time at this location and was not disappointed. In addition to items we had already tried previously we were introduced to the French fries which, after one try are now added to our staple list. We also tried the large grilled shrimp and the stuffed shrimp. Crab cakes are always a must. We got salmon the mac and cheese, veggie medley. Service was exceptional and food was great as expected. We enjoyed the scenic ride getting there and were quite satisfied that we went. We will be back, often

Just had this for the first time, and I have heard amazing things! The crab cakes were hands down INCREDIBLE. Everything was fresh and well packaged for takeout. Very clean atmosphere. Definitely will be going back again!

The fried shrimp are phenomenal! I’ve always loved their crab cakes but the fried shrimp are also delicious! Very large and cooked perfect, not soggy like some other places can be. I will be placing a big order for my holiday party!

As soon as I walked through the door I was greeted with smiles and an undeniable enthusiastic attitude that the servers were glad to be there and to serve me. The service was attentive to my needs and they were quick to put my order together. We had the food for dinner and my entire family loved it. We knew instantly it was a MUST for us to come again.
