The Cage in Audubon Reviews
I had a private party (20 Guests) on a Saturday afternoon. Everything went PERFECT! Olivia Karlin was an amazing host and event organizer! She informed me that I needed to pick three meals and two starters for my menu. I had the room for 2 hours and it was so much fun! Checking out was easy and everything went the way we planned it. Would definitely recommend!!

The Cage in Audubon offers a variety of drinks, featuring the popular Hat Trick and Espresso Martini. The menu includes tasty options like Wise Guy Pizza and Veal Parm, with food that is both creative and delicious. Dessert is also a highlight, with the Espresso cheesecake being a favorite. The staff is friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the food and cocktail menus, creating a welcoming and lively atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. The team’s professionalism and effort to make guests feel valued are evident, making for a fun and enjoyable night out. While some drinks might be a little sweet and the food somewhat salty, the overall vibe remains enjoyable. The Cage can host private events, providing a seamless experience for guests. Due to its great service and lively ambiance, it can get crowded, so reservations are recommended. The space is perfect for family dinners, with a covered patio that’s great for entertaining little ones, and the staff always go above and beyond to ensure a memorable visit.
Many visitors enjoy brunch on Sundays around 11, often sitting inside the dining room to the right. The tables are rather wide, so conversations require speaking loudly. The atmosphere is always great, and management consistently has a smile. Guests frequently praise the delicious food and well-made cocktails, including the Espresso cheesecake dessert. The music is a bit loud in the open space, but the friendly servers, such as Jen, make the experience enjoyable. The drinks are often well-prepared and not watered down, offering good value. Despite some minor issues with service, like a server who seemed less welcoming, the overall experience is positive, and many guests say they will return, especially requesting the same attentive staff.
For regular dinners, guests often find the wine and cocktails to be pricey, with a Chardonnay costing around $15 for 5 oz and specialty cocktails about $16. The dinners are tasty and reasonably priced, but the high alcohol prices may lead some to seek cheaper options or visit during happy hour. Overall, the meal costs over $100 with tip, which some feel is high for the area. Nonetheless, the quality and experience encourage visitors to try it for themselves and decide if it’s worth the price.
