“We went for a friends birthday! It was very good food wise, however, I snuck up to the bar and asked about birthday celebrations and if they did anything special, she had said yes we do a brownie and asked me which table/person. The brownie was great and had a sparkler! BUT when we got our bills the birthday girl had a $7 charge for the brownie! I was very confused because I’ve never been somewhere that charged for a birthday brownie and was not told it would cost anything. Just surprising especially being they charged the birthday person. All and all it was good food but wish the staff be more informative.”
“My wife and i did a tasting at Heritage Wine Cellars on July 30th 2025. We were so delighted with Ivy, one of the family, who served us. It was a dollar for each wine sample and the samples were generous. Ivy was quite informative. It was our favorite wine tasting out of the six we tried that day. Highly recommend the wines at Heritage.”

“We had dinner on a Tuesday evening and it was not busy. We got a table right away.
We used to frequent this place over a decade ago and came for the Cincinnati chilli. It did not disappoint. The chicken tenders were on special Tuesday for $3 ea. We thought that was odd for chicken tenders but then we saw the size of them. The kids meal comes with 2 and 1 was the size of her head lol. They were also very good. The breading has a very good flavor.”
“What a beautiful and historic Pennsylvania Winery. The winery itself was very interesting with lots of neat displays. The wines were delicious. They have a variety of different wines and styles for you to choose from. The staff is kind and friendly and the owners are amazing and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend stopping by for a great part of Pennsylvania wine history.”

“I visited Penn Shore recently and discovered its Pa’s oldest winery! Every wine I tasted in my tasting flight was amazing my favorite was the Cab. Franc. They have a great selection from dry to sweet there’s something for everyone. Leah was so friendly and offered me a tour of the winery, she knew a lot about Penn Shore’s history. The tour took me back in the production space and ended on the back patio over looking gorgeous vineyards. She told me they have large concerts in the summer I can’t wait to come back and attend one or even just have a picnic out back. This is place is the best I highly recommend checking it out!!”

“I had fun that night. It was a Halloween party. Most dressed up in their best costume. There was even a parade. For the most original. Friends meant old friends that they hadn't seen in years. Cousins met cousins that they didn't know they had. It was a nice night all together.”
“Great food & great service. We also loved the children’s play corner for our toddler.”

“I visited Michael’s for the first time recently and I was pleased! My girlfriend and I ordered a pepperoni and cheese calzone and a white pizza. A few thoughts: The pepperoni and cheese calzone— it could have been baked a little bit more, but not much more. The cheese was really good. The pepperoni was flavorful. The pizza sauce in the calzone— it is a sweeter pizza sauce. My ideal pizza sauce is a little less sweet and more spicy, but I only mention this because I still liked their pizza sauce. Perhaps their sauce is comparable to that of a Sbarro’s in terms of sweetness, but Michael’s pizza sauce is better. The white pizza— I haven’t had a slice of one of these in about a year or two when I lived in Florida. Very tasty! The pizza was perfectly baked to my liking. We added spinach to our white pizza and it turned out good. Our only regret is that we didn’t add onions, mushrooms, minced garlic, or tomatoes. Regardless, our plain white pizza was very satisfying! Relative to the quality of food offered at Michael’s, prices are fairly reasonable. NOTE: their ranch dressing is homemade and is in my all-time top 5 restaurant ranches. My girlfriend and I dipped our pizza “bones” (that is, crusts) into the ranch…the ranch was better than we hoped for. NOTE: my gf and I only heard about Michael’s because we coincidentally ended up meeting the owner. She happened to be pouring for a winery at the Wine Fest and had mentioned to her that my favorite “drinking” food is pizza. That’s when she mentioned this place. I had asked her about the sauce, the ranch, etc. and was sold! And Michael’s exceeded my expectations.”

“Update 24 Jul 25 still great place to pu/del
Great place to PU/Del. Big lot with overnight parking. Lot muddy but plenty of room. Stop at gate to check-in. Will work in early if possible. Make sure reefer is cooled to -10 or you'll have to wait.”

“Kinda fallen apart since Norma has been gone. The nice atmosphere and vibes are out the window and everyone typically seams grumpy and unhappy. Order is only right 1 out of 5 times.”

“The Harvest Restaurant and Bar in North East, PA, is truly a hidden gem, even more so after my unexpected weekend snowed in at a local hotel. Stranded due to a blizzard and a car accident, I found solace in the warmth and hospitality of this fantastic establishment. From the moment I stepped in, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was exceptional. Heather, the owner, greeted me with genuine kindness and made me feel right at home. Her dedication to providing a great dining experience was evident throughout my visit. The food was the highlight of my stay. I tried the pot roast melt, which was nothing short of spectacular. The tender meat, melted cheese, and deliciously toasted bread created a comforting and hearty meal that warmed me up from the inside out. I also indulged in the ribs, which were fall-off-the-bone tender and packed with flavor. Each bite was a delight, showcasing the kitchen's skill and commitment to quality. Despite the circumstances that brought me there, the staff's friendly demeanor, along with the amazing food, turned what could have been a disappointing weekend into a memorable one. If you're in the area, don’t miss out on The Harvest Restaurant and Bar—great service, great food, and truly awesome hospitality await!”
