He was the first one to order and even pointed it out on the menu. The waitress passed a cheeseburger order around to a couple on our table. We finally got it to the correct person who was skeptical about the order and kept looking at the burger for a while to see if anyone fingered his food.“

“We were there for lunch, loved the food, especially the short rib pizza, and I usually don't eat pizza. My friend thought there was a little too much cheese. Never. I had some sort of crab pasta. It was ok, not loaded with crab like the waiter said. My friend had a salad, no complaints, but the waiter had to be asked to refill our water and tea, and we had to wait to get his attention. It wasn't busy. I loved the tiramisu. The waiter packed up our separate "to go's" nicely. I would definitely go back, lots of interesting things on the menu.“

“We love Spring House. The food, drinks and service are consistently top notch. Last night was a step backwards. We were greeted at the table by our server with bread and butter and asking if we wanted more than water to drink. In general the drinks took a while and so did the soup. We waited quite a while for someone to take the empty soup bowls and ask if we wanted a water refill or another drink. The soup bowls were taken when the entrees were served. There was someone nearby who was setting the table next to us but she was only interested a table that was still empty when we left. We remain fans of the restaurant and will be back but clearly not a good moment.“

The food is TRUE & authentic Italian- my son closed his eyes at bread course (grilled Roman bread with ricotta & honey for A Scarpetta) and said, “mom this tastes like Italy!” We shared and tasted so many things, antipasto, starters, the salads were fresh, perfect vinaigrettes, the pastas & sauces all legit, homemade from scratch and perfectly Al dente. They dry-age their beef too which is exceptional. For dessert we had tiramisu budino & affogato- a perfect ending. We will be back and would recommend to friends. The staff was great too, just the right amount of attentiveness. It was a joyful & delicious experience at Tresini.“

“Steamed oysters were worth the price, just not as good as I assumed it would be, but honestly, nothing to complain about. Girlfriend got a southwest salad, which was huge and better then expected. Service was great. Atmosphere was calm and quiet which I like. Only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because I expected pasta with the oysters and didn't get any. When I mentioned it to the server I was told she didn't know I wanted the entire and that they weren't suppose to serve entires that late which is completely acceptable because it was 10 on a Saturday night BUT it didn't mentioned that on the menu before I ordered and was expecting the pasta to fill me up so I left a bit hungry still. “It took far too long to get here, but I was finally able to hit McNally’s Tavern in Chestnut Hill for “The Schmitter”. There were quite a few things on this menu that looked good so don’t be surprised to see a follow up on this at some point, but had to talk about this sandwich and experience specifically. So we went on a Friday night around 7pm (had just landed in Philly at the airport) and the place was packed! We were lucky and a couple was leaving shortly after we told the hostess about our party so we sat fairly quickly. Cool vibe in the place, tin mugs hanging from the ceiling and sports on all the tv’s. Like I said though, crazy packed so it was loud and a bit chaotic. The Schmitter is a pretty odd sandwich honestly given what’s on it. Basically a cheesesteak with onions, tomato’s, salami, and their sauce that is similar to a Big Mac sauce. I’d never have thought to add salami to a cheesesteak, but here we are. The flavor was quite good, it was on a round Kaiser (you can order long roll if you want) which reminded me of donkeys place a bit, and the tomato added a nice freshness as well. The price is what you’d expect, maybe a tad bit more, for the sandwich and it comes with basic ridged chips. My girlfriend also got a chicken cheesesteak that was good but looked awful. They use a broiler/salamander to melt the cheese and it came out looking burnt, but it tasted fine. All in all I enjoyed it and will come back again and get another or sample other items. The Schmitter at McNally’s Tavern - Didn’t Suck!“

“I came in on Saint Patrick’s day with my family. We had an extraordinary time there. The portions were very large which is great for hefty eaters or people who simply want to save their food. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the kids Mac and cheese with applesauce (don’t judge) and it was delightful. The applesauce was slightly crunchy, and had cinnamon sprinkled overtop. The Mac and cheese was delicious and cheesy, I could hardly finish it all. I also had a Shirley temple with it, which tasted amazing. It tasted a bit like strawberry syrup mixed with lemonade and sprite. The service was excellent. The waiters and waitresses were so polite, and since I went there on Saint Patrick’s day, the entire staff was dressed in leprechaun outfits. They were very friendly. The atmosphere was very light and positive, with an older style feel. I 100% recommend going here.Vegetarian options: I personally don’t recommend for vegetarians to go here, as most of Phil’s is centered off of meat, but they do have plenty of other options that don’t involve meat.Dietary restrictions: The staff was very accommodating and would definitely be willing to accommodate to dietary restrictions.Parking: The amount of parking space was surprising, since we went in on a crowded day. Yet we were able to park our car comfortably outside with not too much of a walking distance.Kid-friendliness: They were so polite to us kids, we got crayons and they did not judge the awful drawings we made.Wheelchair accessibility: They had no steps there, and the distance between the parking and the building is a very small and flat area of land.“

“So I moved to this area from Philly a few years back, and it's been like pulling nails to find a good go-to cheesesteak place. Panicos is the closest I've found for that.Panicos isn't the highest quality you can buy up here (that'd be wagyu cheesesteak from Capriottis). And they're not even the best at making a traditional one (Italian Delight). That being said, Panicos makes a serviceable cheesesteak for a good price. $11 and it's decent. Do they mix the cheese in with the meat? Nope...they do cheese blankets. Do they toast the roll? Nope, and the sandwich will probably fall apart halfway through eating it. But the steak they use is decent, and the price they charge is perfect. Those other places I mentioned are $15-20 for similar. Panicos is a great go-to steak place and I'mma keep going there. If they started charging $15 though...I'd switch to Italian Delight.“

“I am the traveler. The Black Horse is a local watering hole. Clientele is very diverse and changes through the day. Very busy for sport games and very good pool players, which is perfect if you want a respectable game. The food is very good and cooked to order. And you the pricing is great. The bathroom is clean. While I’ve been here it is an older crowd, and everyone has been great. I would return.“

“Adelina’s was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Friendly service, amazing cocktails, phenomenal apps and the entrees were to die for. We tried just about every cocktail, my favorite was the heat check and my husbands was the monthly subscription. The apps were grilled prawns, seared scallops, eggplant fritters and the absolute best homemade chicken soup we’ve ever had. We finished our meal with the whole branzino and the bistecca for one and shared everything. My husband is a steak fanatic but could not leave the branzino alone. Both perfectly cooked, seasoned to perfection and presented in a 5 star way. My husband has now designated this place as our date night destination.“

“I was staying in Plymouth meeting for a few months from dallas for work and this place quickly became a home away from home. Was right after the eagles won the Superbowl and nobody gave me a hard time when I wore my cowboys gear in! Good friendly people. Reminded me of my little hometown bar back in Dallas. Great food too!“

“My wife and I moved from the area a few years ago and our recent trip back to F&M really made me miss it. Gregg (if you're visiting just ask him where to go...he might know everyone) and Mel couldn't have been better (she knew how to pour a snyt!!) and what seemed like an entire bar of friends almost convinced us to move back. I usually use Yelponly to check for hours and byo status but I felt compelled here to show some love. Oh yes, and the beer. It is the tops.“

“The drinks are absolutely phenomenal. That said...the scallops wrapped in bacon with BBQ sauce were amazing, but you really need to make your own pizza dough. Using the pre made dough brings this place down a bit. The bartenders are very nice, but need to pay a little more attention when your glass is empty. Great live music.“

“We began our meal with a delicious and beautifully presented cheese board. The nightly special was a barbecue platter with ribs and pulled pork. My husband said it was good but would have been better with more spices. He loved the sweet potato fries. I had the cheesesteak sandwich which is huge. It was good but I was surprised that the mushrooms and onions were ground up with the meat instead of being served on top. Service was friendly and efficient.“
