“I wanted to find the best place in the Lehigh Valley to make a red velvet cake for my daughter’s birthday - Cakes Terminal was perfect. By far the most delicious red velvet cake we’ve ever tasted! The cake was incredibly moist and the cream cheese icing was not the standard overly sugary sweet flavor. It was mildly sweet and complimented the flavor of the cake instead of overwhelming it. I’m just sorry we forgot to take a picture of it - it was beautiful! ❤️“

“When you step into Sophistiqué, you’re hit with the aroma of freshly-baked pastries. The patisserie is clean, organized and stocked with a variety of perfectly-made pastries. We bought at least 12 things for my family to sample and share, ranging from $1.50-$8 each. Everything tasted authentic and made with love. “I rarely leave reviews but I knew I needed to leave a review for this store after visiting it for the first time in my life today. My boyfriend’s Mom heard really good things about the store but never have been visited either, so we went today. For starters, the set-up is adorable. The cute little knickknacks they have and cool finds like edible candles, really made this store stand out!! I had no intention of buying anything. However, the employees were super friendly and described one of the Bundt cakes she had and I knew I needed to try it…. LIKE A MILLION ANGELS KISSING YOUR TASTEBUDS, that’s what these Bundt cakes tasted like (I purchased the 2nd to smallest size, small enough for a person to eat themselves, but also big enough to split in half with someone and be satisfied)!!!! The flavors I purchased were white chocolate raspberry, red velvet, confetti, and peppermint chocolate chip. The cream cheese icing is the best I’ve EVER had & the cake is so moist and fresh. This store has easily become my favorite place in a matter of a few hours and I will be a customer until the day I die. They even give you a punch card for mini Bundt cake purchased and after a certain number of Bundt cakes you get one free!! 🤩 I seriously wish I took a picture of them before my family and I scarfed them down but we all LOVED THEM!! “I’m from the Allentown area so I’ve tasted Kiffle Kitchen’s delicious Kiffle‘s at the farmers market. now that I live a distance away my brother-in-law sends them to me. In fact, I got two boxes this Christmas season and they as always were beyond fabulous! I shared them with friends and in the office and my husband and I ate quite a few ourselves. “Spectacular design and delicious cake. We ordered a cake from La Dolce Vita for my 60th birthday party and it came out beyond our expectations. My son has been talking nonstop about how he wanted to eat at Paris Baguette when we came to visit over Christmas break so like a good mom, I made it happen. In terms of savory items we got the Pastry Frank and the Crab Meat Croquette. Both were warmed up for us and tasted delicious. My youngest son devoured the Crab Meat Croquette and said it was his favorite. Sweet pastries we had were the Strawberry Mochi donut, blueberry cream cheese pastry, Snowman King Cream donut (my personal favorite), Mr. Bear, and the Butter Cream Bread. Everything tasted fresh and had a light airy texture which is dangerous because you can easily eat so much of it because it’s that good! I also ordered a hot matcha latte which was also delightful. I’m glad we made the trip out here and we will definitely make it part of our yearly visit out here to PA!“

One experience, in particular, stands out: We ordered two birthday cakes while living out of state. We called in the order with some special requests—one vanilla and one chocolate with peanut butter frosting. When we picked up the cakes, the woman working there was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever interacted with during an order pickup. Most days it's frustrating when you try to call ahead and they don't pick up the phones or disconnect it because they too busy, which is understandable but annoying. “Another great thing about Monocacy Coffee. Its the best resurrection coffee around. I am not one to dispose of my old coffee. I soon dispose of old sour whiskey, and that is stating alot. Anyway, day, two day old coffee ? Don't want to suffer the burnt re-cook of the stove, or the radiated foaming microwave ? Crack out the old perc from the camping supplies. Do not use the guts, just simply add a few, literally less than my son's handfull, Monocacy Coffee whole beans into the aged coffee, bring to quick boil and viola ! Resurrected super delicious enjoyable renewable coffee. Truth.“
