“I’ve been going to Ipanema Grille since they opened. I get excited every time I go. The food is always delicious and the staff is excellent. Douglas makes you feel like family and treats you as if you are. The renovation only amplifies how amazing this place is. We started with potato pancakes, calamari, and the mozzarella en Carozza and it was like it was touched by the hand of God it was so delicious! Then I had the pretzel chicken with the mashed potatoes and the green beans! I've been looking for pretzel chicken done this way all over the valley and this is the only place that does it the way I like it with the mustard sauce. My dinner also came with a soup and I chose the Italian wedding and it tasted better than mine! My husband had the Joseph's double stuffed crust pizza with pepperoni added on top and we've had other double stuffed crust white pizzas before and this one is at the top of the list! “I was nearby visiting my wife in the hospital, and I remember seeing some young man wearing a Chicanos t-shirt near my house which is about 1.5 hours away.
So I decided to go by and get a couple of items to go and eat them when I got home.
By the time I got home it was really late, but I decided to taste everything anyway and it was absolutely fantastic!
Much better tasting than I was expecting and they were very generous with everything and their portions.
I got the pork posole, which came with a couple of bean tostadas! To my excitement and surprise! And the Posole?
Was both chicken and pork cooked into the stew, but here you have to choose whether you want to have pork or chicken. So this is something I was not used to and I thought I was going to be disappointed.
Having chosen pork, when I rewarmed it the next morning I was unbelievably surprised at how fantastic this was, easily some of the best posole I've had in a decade!
A carne asada burrito, which came with chips and salsa.
And I remember thinking to myself when I picked up the burritos oh my gosh this thing is really a big burrito! I haven't seen a real size burrito since I left the West Coast in 2010! ? The taste was absolutely fantastic and it even had grilled jalapenos in it which just kicked the flavor up another notch!
Not to be not to sound arrogant, but this Salsa was so good, it was like if I made it myself, super fresh! ?
I have to say my favorite thing was the chorizo tacos!
Anyone that grew up with real Mexican chorizo and knows what they're exactly it's supposed to taste like and these tacos absolutely did!!

“HIGHLY recommend! Food was absolutely phenomenal. Prices are almost pre-covid and incredibly affordable. Especially for the huge portions you get! Their boba teas are to DIE for! And the service was super friendly, greeted everyone that walked in. I even noticed three separate people come in just to pick up sauces! I cannot express how authentic and clean and wonderful this restaurant is. The food and service absolutely make up for the small dining area. 10/10 recommend.

Food came out swiftly and perfect. The staff were friendly and very informative. All of the desserts are handmade in house. If you get a chance to try the lemon lush, you’ll wish you had a bigger stomach. I had the Porketta Brioche. I’ve never had Porketta but Margaret informed me of what it was and assured me I was getting a great meal. She wasn’t wrong. I will definitely be back next time I’m in town. We also tried the chicken parmesan and the pork chop. The pork chop had a nice crunch on the outside, though we felt it could use a bit more seasoning inside. The Albariño white wine was a perfect pairing, it is not easy to find Spanish wine around.“

Thankfully we had an entirely different experience.

Megan was one of the nicest servers we've encountered in any of our restaurant visits.
She was attentive. She was pleasant.

And our food also came out in a timely manner. We didn't feel rushed and we didn't feel forgotten about. Appetizers. Full meals. Dessert. All delivered perfectly orchestrated.

We had the most pleasant experience and we would go back to the Highbridge House, maybe even calling ahead to see if Megan L was available.

“Wow! Menu..Service..Food... Wow!

I am passing through town and saw the Viewpoint Diner on my way to the hotel. After looking it up and calling to confirm that breakfast was served all day, I headed over for dinner. As the host walked me to my booth, I saw the specials board and amazing looking meals in front of multiple patrons, and my breakfast for dinner plans went out the window. The menu is more than that of any old diner. It was a broad, colorful menu with professional pictures of most of the meals. I was immediately greeted by my waitress & her trainee but needed more time with the expansive menu. I ended up selecting Stuffed Shrimp (crab) and veggies and salad. I should have taken pictures, but I was too excited. Everything tasted as amazing as it looked, and the portions were hearty. The waitstaff was attentive and friendly. The whole experience was such a pleasant surprise! I wish I was going to be in town long enough to go back and try the breakfast.

The atmosphere was great. The exterior was well lit with awnings displaying their menu categories, the interior clean and inviting. It seemed like at least a few of the other tables were local regulars, which I consider a great thing.

My only suggestion would be that they round out their profile on Google to include the menu to help others find them. I didn't find what I was looking for there and took a gamble and won this time. 😉

If you get a chance, go! You won't be disappointed.“
