“Best Chinese food in Oley and surrounding areas! Chicken is always tender and not chewy, their egg rolls are just perfect and we love their lo mein. I always get frustrated when some restaurants just add in a bunch of broccoli stems in their food and Hong Kong has a good mix of all veggies in their meals. We go here frequently. Definitely recommend!“

“My mother-in-law has tried there a few times and has spoke very highly of their food. My husband and I finally decided to try take-out tonight and we can't believe how everything turned out. The vegetable spring rolls were amazing as well as our szechuan chicken and ginger chicken. Both spicy dishes. Usually, I would add red pepper flakes to my dish, but this time I did not. It was deLICious. We will definitely be ordering there again. 5 Stars here for sure.“

“This is our go to Chinese spot. Their drive through window makes it easy to pick up especially when you have kids. They are a little expensive compared to the other Chinese restaurants but their food has flavor which makes it worth it! They do not deliver though that’s a down side.

“All of the food was really good and there was plenty in each container. My go to order at a new place is Singapore Mei fun, hot and sour soup and an egg roll and spring roll. The Singapore Mei fun is the best I’ve had in years outside of a couple places in Chester County and of course, downtown Philly. The egg and spring rolls were stuffed with nice fresh veggie ingredients and were cooked perfectly. The hot and sour soup had plenty of vegetables and tofu, and was just spicy enough! I’ve lived in Berks County for the past 11 years and this is the first place that I can say makes really good Chinese food. I just moved into this part of the county in November and I am very happy having found this place! Kudos to the owners and chef!“

“This spot has been my go to for a while since moving to PA from NYC. Foods good and the service delivery time is A1, pick up times can have a slight delay from them pumping out DoorDash or uber eats orders, but they make sure you are priority over delivery drivers. They used chicken by accident instead of shrimp and when I called the man offered to deliver the new one for free and told me to keep the chicken! I tipped him $5 because it was so nice of him to do! “Today I ordered the beef with adpargus. The beef was all rubber. I had to spit all of what I tried out. I called and the owner (female) said there is nothing she was going to do about it. $20 gone and no lunch. They just lost a loyal customer.“

The white rice was cooked perfectly. I can't really give them a rating on the atmosphere since it was under Reno, but the kitchen was up and running. This is my new favorite take out spot.

“I've been coming here for years!No issues ever. The food is great! This place does get busy (for a reason) so like any other place, you wait for your order or ask ahead of time! I don't understand why people feel entitled to leave a 1 star review over a small dilemma. This place deserves so much more credit.“

“First and foremost…Sakura is second to none when it comes to sushi. However, there’s really nothing on the menu that is absolutely fantastic. Whether it’s date night or you’re just looking for some good food for lunch, Sakuras the place. With the fast service, it’s definitely a plausible option for those on a lunch break as well. Don’t sleep on this place…check ‘em out as soon as you can. You won’t regret it.“

“The BBQ sauce and hot sauce taste great. Their general tso/sesame chicken tastes really good, the sauce is better than most spots I've tasted in the reading area, maybe all to be quite honest. Good on them, and they're close by if you live around city park.
Their shrimp in garlic sauce with vegetable fried rise is my go to dish. Plenty of vegetables, the shrimp taste good, the garlic sauce tastes great, and nothing tastes burnt, which was a problem i was having with a few spots around here. If i wanna get chinese food, this is my go to spot. I'll be trying the other dishes like the sweet and sour chicken and spare rib tips to see how they match up with the other spots.

Overall very pleased with the cooking here, will be a customer for quite a while, haha.

“I found this place while looking for a place to eat Chinese food and let me tell you this place did not disappoint me. Food was great. Service was fast, friendly and respectful. The shrimp fried rice with boneless ribs was amazing. This is the first time that I get tender boneless ribs, usually they are hard and difficult to chew at other restaurants. Here I don't have that issue they are tender and this is why I always go here. The other thing that I've order from here is the shrimp with Broccoli and shrimp fried rice. Also amazing, big shrimps and delicious. The chicken wings are delicious as well. I also like their sesame chicken, the only thing is that you have to ask them to add bean sprouts. But other than that everything is great. Fast service. The prices are fair. Usually when I go I find a parking spot. Dining area was clean. I will continue eating here cause I like this place.“

“Cozy spot. Can tell the fryer oil is fresh. Delivery arrived crispy and screaming hot. Delivery person was nice! I’ve received great service here for years. These guys get slammed on weekends, and I am always met with a smile when I walk in to say hello.“

“China Bar is the best little Chinese bar I’ve ever been in thus far. The food is actually top notch which is why you can never judge a book by it’s cover. Beer prices are good. Chew needs to lower those liquor prices a little bit. All in all, it’s a nice quiet little bar.“

In my opinion, Panda Express is the best Chinese food you’re ever gonna get. The orange chicken is always on point — crispy, flavorful, and hits every time. The fried rice is consistently good, and the broccoli? Fresh and perfectly cooked. You can tell they use real, quality vegetables. I seriously love this place.
