I highly recommend getting their coconut chicken, honey chicken, sweet-and-sour chicken, egg rolls, their duck sauce is the best. “If you’re craving good lo mein, look no further. At the recommendation of someone on the local community page, we tried King House a few months ago and now this is the ONLY place I get Chinese from.

Their vegetable lo mein is always loaded with veggies, super flavorful & fresh. It’s not greasy like some other places either. The Singapore mei fun, General Tao’s, wonton soup & steamed dumplings are fantastic as well, and the owners/employees are always so friendly to boot.

“I just ordered from here and oh my goodness that was so good. I got basic sweet/sour chicken, white rice, wonton soup, and Chinese donuts. The chicken was so fresh and crispy. The chicken was also really good quality, very trustworthy. Flavor of the wonton soup was on point and it was stuffed with wontons. The donuts could have been covered with more sugar but the dough was still good. I can tell the oil they are using is fresh (at least for my experience.) Food was ready fast.“

“This is one of those "hole-in-the-wall" places that are mainly set up for take out orders. Although they do have a few tables for dining in, I don't think they have wait service. ? (That's just my opinion because it's not that type of restaurant with the ambiance. The tables are there more for if you'd rather sit there to eat your food, IMO)... “This place is a pleasant surprise. It is a small "mom and pop" Chinese restaurant, located in an older strip mall, right next to an arcade. This is not where we expected to find an all-vegan restaurant, with a health conscious message. The food was great and the staff were friendly. We had hot and sour soup, general tso's chicken, shrimp toast, and the stir fry vegetable wrap. The wrap was the biggest surprise and we would highly suggest it. Additionally, the prices are very reasonable.“

I know, they are not listed as a thai food place, but they still make the best pad thai I've had within a 20 mile radius! I like to get mine extra spicy so it has a little kick. Their Mongolian beef is good. I've gone through a few phases where I'll prefer their Schezuan chicken or hunan chicken, or I'll feel like trying something a bit different - everything I've tried has been good. I will say that I prefer the white rice over fried, I don't order the general tsao's very often because I find it a little too sweet, and while I don't mind their boneless spare ribs, they aren't something I order often as they can be a little dry, but those are all personal preferences. Also, thank goodness for online ordering! I have anxiety and trouble hearing, which can make talking on the phone or placing orders in person nearly impossible at times, so I greatly appreciate the ability to click a few buttons and know that my order will be ready quickly. That said, the people are always very friendly, their delivery driver always greets me with a smile, and it's clear that a lot of care is put into their business. I look forward to many more years, knowing if I ever need a little joy through the day, an order from Mayflower is a great place to start.“

I'm pretty picky about Sweet & Sour Chicken, and it's been difficult to find a local spot that compared to our favorite place about 30 minutes away.

The portions here were generous, the prices reasonable and the food is delicious. I am a sucker for chicken and broccoli, but I find a lot of places skimp on quality and don't balance the chicken to broccoli... it's usually too much of one or the other. They balance everything well, which was nice to discover.

Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. My other half got the Crab Rangoon and said it was excellent, but maybe too much for just one person.

We definitely plan to order from here again!!“

“The general tso's sauce IS the best! I get the general tso's tofu (don't knock it till ya try it) and it's great every single time. Their tofu(or whatever)+ broccoli (brown sauce) is really good as well. I don't usually get the fried rice but I recall it being decent. Not a sit in restaurant and it isn't the most welcoming store front as another person as mentioned, but the food is fast and delicious and I have never had a single issue.

“My family and I have been getting take out from Win Hao for years, and we just love it. The food is always so delicious and plentiful, we've only ever had a great experience. The staff are the best, always cheerful and kind and they make it easy to order by phone. If there isn't parking out front there's always a space in the back of the property. Definitely a Berwyn highlight!“

“I have eaten the food and it's very good. The husband is very nice. I usually walk in. I ordered for delivery this time. One thing I'm my order was vegetable Chow Mein. (Chinese vegetables) She asked if I wanted the noodles. I said "NO, noodles are Lo Mein, I want Chow Mein. Low and behold when I opened my bag I had Lo Mein. The day before I walked in for fried rice. I initially said no to soy sauce but changed my mind 2 seconds later. Got home. No soy sauce. I understand that it gets busy but what I value most in customer service is the art of listening. I WILL continue to eat there but I quess I'll have to reiterate my request to make sure I'm getting what I want. Nobody's perfect.“

“Just found out my favorite Chinese restaurant is closing September 16 this yr. My heart is saddened we have been going to this restaurant for the past 40 years. And they by far have the best Chinese food in the area. Since the pandemic the restaurant has been closed to eat in so we just take out to get our fix of Chinese food. What are we going to do now. I knew this day was coming but i didn’t think it would be so soon. I am going to miss everyone that worked there they all knew us and every time we went in there they ask how are the kids since we always took the kids and then the grandkids every special occasion each yr the long table by the door was ours. To fit all 3 boys and their wives and the 7 grand kids. I am happy for all that worked at the restaurant they deserve to retire. But what are we going to do now. Maybe some of the family will open up a takeout location so we can still get the great food. So sad but congratulations to everyone there.“

“The food was incredible, especially for the area. We ordered a bit of everything and our favorite was the sushi, really great quality. The service was ok, our waiter seemed rushed. It was our first time there so we were not familiar with the menu. Instead of helping us he walked away and said “I’ll give you more time”. Not a big deal but it would have been helpful. Overall the hot plates had good flavor and the portions were ok. A bit on the higher price range for Chinese food but the quality was worth it. The only thing we did not like was the wonton soup, the portions were two small and not meant to be shared like in most Asian restaurants. Overall I would recommend to visit and try their Chow Fun and sushi which were our favorites.
