“By far the best Chinese food in West Chester. I've been there like 10 times in the past month, $11 for an orange, sesame or general tso chicken with pork fried rice and an egg rolls. I'm a grown man and get 2 full meals out of it. Food is higher quality than most places I've been to, always fresh and consistent, plus the service is friendly and quick.

Any negative review is a rare occasion, cause not only have I been there 10 times this month, I also went at least that many times last month too, which is when I started going. I haven't had a single bad meal or bad experience. I also like how they don't put too much sauce on their chicken. “Moved to the area 5 years ago. Have struggled to find a half decent Chinese restaurant anywhere nearby. After dozens of really terrible local options we just gave up. In a desperate need to feed the family without time to go grocery shopping, I finally tried Golden Key. Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and food is as decent as I make from scratch at home.

Most notably, they seem to make an effort to wash their vegetables really well. I can rarely eat restaurant vegetables 'cause they're so poorly cleaned & still covered in industrial ag chemicals (I work in the industry, as such I'm sensitized to the chemicals. Any residual in the produce I consume makes me sick)“

They served lunch specials for less than $10 per person, which includes the main dish, pork fried rice and a fried spring roll. It was quickly and warmly cooked. “This is the BEST chinese food. I go 20 minutes out of my way for Hot Wok. Always fresh and even crispy still when i get home. They have buy one, get one general tso’s chicken on the uber eats app at least once a month and a teriyaki chicken special everyday. The teriyaki chicken i daydream about. The portion sizes are amazing and they give you a lot of meat and not just a bunch of broccoli with a little bit of meat. Definitely go! Don’t hesitate.“

(Chinese vegetables) She asked if I wanted the noodles. I said "NO, noodles are Lo Mein, I want Chow Mein. Low and behold when I opened my bag I had Lo Mein. The day before I walked in for fried rice. I initially said no to soy sauce but changed my mind 2 seconds later. Got home. No soy sauce. “My go-to dishes to base my chinese take-out is always an order of fried dumplings, beef chow fun, and some type of general tso's. Also got an order of cheese wontons and sweet and sour chicken. Everything I'd say is priced reasonably well compared to the local chinese takeouts near me and where I've gone in the past, would say the food may be 4.5 instead of 5 but I'll round up.

Not sure why others have said the people are mean/rude, they were friendly with me.

Overall I really enjoyed the food, price is very affordable, wait time to get the food was very quick, would switch to Chicken instead of Tofu next time. Definitely wouldn't mind coming back again when in the area.

Dumplings - Good flavor, nice chew, sauce was a little salty but balanced well with the dumplings

Beef Chow Fun - Noodles a bit overcooked but the flavor was there, beef was nice and tender, not backfilled with a ton of veggies like other places

General Tso's Tofu - Tofu was fried too long and made it kind of hard, sauce was okay, gave more broccoli than other places

Cheese Wontons - Nice crunch and pretty good flavor, sweet and sour dip from the chicken went well with it

Sweet and Sour Chicken - Chicken was tender and not dry, batter was crispy even after the drive home (30 mins)
