“Tony's dream is to make the best cheese steak sandwich possible in a rural setting. Located on main street in rustic Benton PA Tony's Steaks is nothing more than a garden shed and carport, yet the crew has transformed it into a ShangriLa for Philly style foodies. I like to order a steak on salad as a low carb alternative. It's not on the menu but Tony is very flexible about customizing the food. There are other dinner choices besides the sandwich fare as well. Fish and shrimp, poppers fries and my fav- onion rings. I often look for excuses to drive to Benton to get a take out dinner. There is limited seating outdoors and under the awning when the weather allows. Great place to interact with the locals since Tony's is often the highlight of their day. Bottom line the cheesesteak sandwiches are on par with the better Philly institution's. Authentic rolls and locally sourced rib eye beef are the key, and choice of cheese and veggie toppings make a memorable experience.“
“I have ordered from here on several occasions now- the subs are delicious, the service was quick, and the prices are reasonable. Maddie has prepared a few of my orders and she was always pleasant and prompt with my orders. I will continue to get my subs from here!“
“I love places like this. They serve good food, have been in business for years and good prices. Breakfast for my husband and I was $12. You can also tell locals like the restaurant too as people greeted and talked with each other us included who are not locals. Grab a table outside for a creek side view.“
“I love the antipasto salad. I don't think anyone could possibly eat the large one. I order a small and take half of it home. Staff is great, friendly and joke around with their customers and pretty much know everyone by name. I would have given 5 stars but ordered a SOFT pretzel and could not eat it , it was baked/cooked too hard.“
