“My girlfriend and I wondered in to Nanty Glo off the Ghost Town Bike Trail on Saturday April 4 during the COVID-19 lockdown. Almost all businesses were closed and we decided to bike thru town only to find Al's OPEN for takeout. We got to enjoy some delicious pizza slices, a cold drink and a piece of Al's delicious homemade pie. If you're biking in, make Al's a must-stop. You'll be supporting a great local business and enjoying some delicious food too!! RECOMMENDED!!!“

“I ordered a couple trays of pizza today, and when I stopped to pick them up….they fine folks at D’arc’s had given my pizzas to another person.

But….they took this as an opportunity to build relationships with customers!!

(Not that I needed help. I’ve been eating their pizza for 40+ years!).

But they made it right with me, and their pizza is as great as always!“

“i honestly think this might be the best restaurant in Johnstown. The fried mozzarella was amazing. Better than the high-end restaurant's mozzarella. The salad was good but can live without it(the side salad that is) But the bread. it tastes exactly like how my mom used to make it. It was soft, warm, and tasty. one of the best things I tried for being so simple. I was hoping for alfredo but didn't see it so I got the garlic oil pasta. It was good on its own but REALLY good with parmasan on it. it tasted like a less creamy version of alfredo“

“Delicious food! It's actually a blast from the past for me as my wife worked at JoJo pizza in 1983 when we started dating. Just seeing the sign brings back fond memories of being a much younger healthier man. Food is as good as it was 40 years ago.“

Love the sauce on the pizza .cheese steak was really good. and the wings were crispy. I had a couple with hot sauce and they were absolutely delicious . “Vegan pizza! Vegan Stromboli! Our favorite was the vegan pizza💜 The dough is great 😋 sauce is flavorful & they made it perfect! We came here Wednesday 5/1. They have a Vegan & Gluten Free menu. We didn’t try the GF choices (cauliflower crust) but good to know! Would definitely recommend for vegans, vegetarians, gluten free people, etc OR any1 who wants to try something new😄…waitress said she loves the smell of vegan cheese but hasn’t tried it BUT now she will 👍 The indoor/outdoor seating is nice, we sat on the border of both lol which was lovely. It’s on a busy street but your view is still pretty with trees, grass, old brick buildings that they’ve kept up & more *They don’t have pineapple🍍as a topping (yet) so I’m hoping with this review that they’ll order it lol pineapple pizza is the best🤤“

“I literally just called to place an order, and a young gentleman answered to confirm they could only do medium pizzas, he tried his hardest to get a deal for me and was very curtious, i wish I got his name, I called up at 2010 on 22nd March. if the shift manager can find out who answered the phone, he deserves credit.“

“This place is on point and the hoagies are excellent ???. I continue to go to this place specifically for the hoagies but, but......the menu is gigantic! Absolutely a crazy amount of choices, and there is no way you almost can't find at least something that you like even as a picky eater. I love this place. ?

Parking: There is a lot, of spots to park. You will not at all have trouble finding parking.

“Ordered 2 Stromboli 's My Stromboli I wanted everything it came with except no ham & wanted double pepperoni. For some reason they put ham on my order. It was good, except the ham tasted old. WHEN I WENT TO EAT IT I HAD TO REHEAT IT CUZ IT WAS A LITTLE WARM JUST WARM I HAD NO PROBLEM WITH THAT BUT ALL THE INGREDIENTS WAS IN THE MIDDLE THERE WAS NONE ON THE ENDS IT WAS REALLY DOUGHY. “I am so grateful for this Fox's location. I needed a large order for a corporate lunch so I called a few days in advance. They were able to meet and exceed all I needed! The delivery was on time, hot, fresh and delicious! The salads were FRESH lettuce, veggies and quality dressing (nothing stale, not bagged lettuce - everything fresh). The pizzas were delicious. I will make them a regular ordering option for us. The delivery girl was friendly and the first thing she did was ensure I had a receipt. Professionalism all the way around! Thank you!!“

“I ordered a large stromboli and garlic knots yesterday around 3pm. When I arrived to pick up my order it was not busy and no vehicles were in the parking lot and my order was sitting on top of the pizza oven. When I got home we cut the stromboli and the cheese wasn't even melted! it was cold in the middle!!! totally unacceptable!! I had to bake the stromboli in my oven to finish cooking it... the garlic knots weren't soggy and had so much bitter garlic they were inedible!!! I was very disappointed with the quality of my order. Being that my order was just sitting on top of the pizza oven boxed up it could have been cooked longer, obviously there was time!! When the owner is working my food is always perfect and always delicious!! But yesterday I did not see him and it shows in the food quality!! And support local fee?? what?? Is that a new tax???“

“The cowboy flavored wings are amazing. Service is always good. Large eating space, friendly staff. We live in Somerset County, and the foxes here don't have the cowboy flavor, so it's a nice change when we're in town. I might have to see about getting a container to go.“

“So, along with some friends my husband and I stopped by Friday(4/7) night. We would have never stopped by it wasn't for our friends suggestion. I love this "new" hole in the wall place. There are very few places my husband feels comfortable at. Southmont Gardens is now one of those places. Keep up the good work“

“What a great place to get a bite to eat and have a drink! It's clean, drinks are cold, the staff is always friendly, and has always been a nice crowd when there. Highly recommend!

“Go there once a week with family & we love this place. The food is so so good & the waitress Rosie is a dream. She is so nice & friendly & knows what us regulars like. Any food you order is going to be delicious. They have a chicken dish that has mashed potatoes & corn with stripes of chicken on top with cheese & they bake it & add chix gravy on the side & OMG it is amazing. Their grilled ham & cheese with onion petals are great for lunch. White pizza & wings are delicious also. If you never been there, you must go. You won't be disappointed.“

Parking: Not many spots in front of the store but ample parking in the shopping center that surrounds it, if needed.“
