“If you haven't stopped to check it out, it's about time! A lot of homemade foods but their homemade honey cake (medovik) is over the top! They have regular, coconut and chocolate varieties and they are all to die for! The meat is halal and it is so fresh- they have every day deliveries. Order what you need and the butcher cuts it in front of you! Excellent Uzbek vibe - both in the store and the restaurant. Recommend!“
“The best restaurant I've visited in Philly. The food is unique and exudes flavor. Inside the restaurant, the walls are decorated with beautiful paintings and subtle lighting. Our waitress was efficient, friendly, and had great recommendations!Best of all, the portions are generous - although I wouldn't call this place "cheap eats".I can't wait to return!Note: BYOB is still encouraged and dessert is delicious!Vegetarian options: There is an entire menu section dedicated to vegetarian items (6-8 total)“
“The food here is AMAZING! Highly recommend the eggplant. It’s one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. My foodie 16 year old wanted to take home a quart of it. Beautiful atmosphere, kind people. Many dishes for both vegetarians and meat eaters. Gluten free options. The rice is sooooo good. Doesn’t serve alcohol.“
“My friend and I came here for lunch, and neither one of us had ever been here before. The block that this restaurant is in is not the fanciest on Samson Street but don’t let it deter you from trying this restaurant. If you’re looking for something different with a Middle Eastern flavor, you have to try this restaurant. the price is right and the food is taste fresh with clean ingredients. Unfortunately, I took no pictures but I had the steam dumplings and my luncheon partner had a wrap that she raved about.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps into the restaurant.“
