Excellent pizza. The sandwiches were amazing, but (for my liking/preference) the bread was hard. Will be back.

Cheesesteak was great, real dense in quantity which make it feel worth buying.

Wait time was long, but it’s expected with how popular Angelo’s really is.

Fast, cash only, very loud but it was very busy, popular spot but definitely worth it, get the grandma pie. No seating anywhere so find a stoop or bench and youre golden, food was definitely worth the wait, short walk to the Italian market, get coffee and wait.

Been dying to try the cheesesteak here. Got there 20 minutes before opening. Line was only a few people AND they let us in 10 minutes early. I ended up getting my cheesesteak before the official opening time! And it did NOT disappoint! Sooooooo good!

i honestly would not recommend coming here :(
-this place was highly recommended
-no area to wait
-after you place your order you wait 45 minutes
-i tried the classic philly cheesesteak and it was dry :/ the chickn cheesesteak is in my picture and was dry
-not worth the long wait, and cash only!

Their cheesesteaks - regular, chicken and buffalo chicken - did not disappoint. A bit on the cheesy side, but the famous copper sharp works really well and their bread does set them apart. Had been waiting for a while to try their cheesesteaks, finally made the time to bike over and wait. Therein lies the primary challenge, hard to find parking where they're located and they're really popular, there was 35 minute wait to pickup - they are pickup and cash only. When you get there, get in line, put in your phone number, tell them what you want, wait till you get a text message saying your order is ready, pay cash and find somewhere to eat the cheesesteak or take it home. Really on the fence on whether I would do it again, Philly does have plenty of other good cheesesteak joints all over the city...

In my honest opinion it was trash. Had much higher expectations being it was my first time and hearing it was supposedly one of the best spots in Philly very disappointed bread was hard and seemed old hard to bite thru. Tried to add ketchup which I shouldn't have to to make it taste better but it didn't work lol Not a good look I'll stick with Sabrina's Philly cheese steak over Angelo's and Geno's . Sabrina's is superb their bread is amazing as well each time it's very consistent !!!

I asked a security guy at the Liberty Bell exhibit about good place to get a Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich. He immediately said that Angelo's was the best in the city. Got the address & walked there.

The food was as good as advertised. I went there around 5:30 pm and there were at least 50 others waiting for food or ordering.
