The food was fun! Unique and unpretentious. Spice levels were perfect sending an indication they’re really thoughtful about the details. Definitely make a reservation!! Mawn was delicious and the service was excellent. We ordered the crispy shrimp, the crepe salad, the all star seafood fried rice, and the fish. It was a lot of food for the two of us but we wanted to try different things. Our favorite dish was the fried rice. They give a sauce for the rice but we preferred the rice without it -- the uni, scallops, roe, etc were so good! I've never had a dish like it before. Pro tip if you can’t get a reservation: come for lunch! We arrived right at 11 on Saturday and were the first ones in. Our waitress was delightful, and we had the whole fish (OMG!), the fried soft shell shrimp, the chicken soup (maybe the least wow of all the dishes), a melon and Asian pear salad, funnel cake and rice pudding. I’ve now been on a mission to find “ginger buds” to use in my cooking!
