Batter & Crumbs Vegan Bakery and Cafe

We got coffee here and my partner got a blackberry earl gray scone. He said it had no flavor and none of their baked goods looked very good. Everything looked a bit dry. The coffee was also not very good.

Loved the vibes here. Super local and was very busy immediately when they opened. Staff were super nice, and the coffee and baked goods were just lovely. Had a maple oat coffee with a cherry cheese danish and a tofu scramble breakfast burrito. Will have to stop in again on my next visit to Philly for their cupcakes!

My favorite coffee drinks in the city, for sure, and food that--while usually good--is very slightly hard to count on sometimes. Their menu just changes surprisingly often, both in terms of items coming and going in general and day-to-day availability. (Also, I used to love one item sold by them and then I think their vendor changed how they make it, and now I kind of don't like it.) I don't want the above to overshadow my positive feelings, though! I just want to include the one small critical note I have. If I had to recommend a specific combo: Nutella latte and a brunch crunch wrap!

Everything here is good. The banana pudding is one of the best desserts I’ve ever had…it’s crazy.

We picked up a bagel, egg and cheese sandwich, and the Ube loaf and all were delicious! Staff was friendly and vibes were cute. They had a lot of different baked treats, wish I could have tried more!

The sweets are amazing. I also really liked the egg salad sandwich.

I've actually never had any baked goods here, but the pre-made sandwiches are great. They heat them up for you, and they're inexpensive.

All their stuff is wonderful. Huge selection of pastry, cookies and cakes. Highly recommend to everyone.

Every baked good I’ve tried has really hit, the staff is always really nice AND it’s fast!? The Iced maple oat latte is possibly my favorite coffee in Philly. I just love everything about this place

Recently discovered a dairy allergy and it has been very hard. This place makes it so much easier! Great latte, the salted caramel syrup was amazing. Ate a little donut and a cinnamon roll (that were both delicious) and took some other stuff home to try later. Can't wait to come back!

I love their food, they have so many great gluten free options. I love that you can get all of the fancy coffees vegan that you can’t get other places. I do wish their coffee was stronger.
Their delivery packaging is amazing! They have never gotten my order wrong and it always comes sturdy and the correct temperature.
Normally my service is phenomenal! The last time I went the woman at the counter was kinda cranky about them having a new menu and me struggling to figure out what was gluten free with the changes. She told me to go to the fridge because anything they have is in there, but once I had already paid I found out that they had non-refrigerated gluten free options. But this was a one off occurrence and everyone else was very nice!
