“This place was such a unique experience. Some classic English items, and a few you might not have had before. My friend and I shared the deviled eggs and cheese board (which had 4 kinds of cracker/biscuit options.) He had the Sunday roast (a very large portioned meal) and I the rabbit pie (think dark meat chicken and you'll be fine lol.) The London Fog cocktail was a delight with its earthy earl gray gin and fresh juice. All of this set in a Victorian period home. Only downside is the lack of accessibility for those with wheelchair or ambulatory differences.“
“Rotating cocktail list is particularly fun, seasonal and delicious. Great atmosphere, trivia on Wednesdays with Don is the best around, and they have Open Mic nights and music bingo as well. I have a thing for tater tots and French onion soup and these do not disappoint. I'll take the opportunity to say they used to have the best loaded fries anywhere and they changed them, I miss the original!“
“I rarely give five stars for anything. This place is beyond fab. His Lordship had Haddock, I had batters sausage with chips and curry. YUM. We cleaned them out of pork pies! My only unhappiness was scones had jam and NO CREAM!! I have that a pass, you have to have cream. Well worth the trip.“
“I can't say this enough. Go here and get a pastey. The crust is out of this world. I had two different ones and they were both great. The jerk chicken had quite a nice kick.We also went another time and got the full English and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT. They make their own sausage folks.... and it totally shows. The little imported extras like ribena, and various crisps are just icing in the cake.Dietary restrictions: They have a broad offering packed into a small spot but I didn't see much that would be vegan or vegetarian. I would suggest calling ahead.“
