This was my third visit and Chez Hansi is now undoubtedly among my Philly favorites. I have tried the tajine de legumes, jaegerschnitzel, summer gazpacho with black olives, and jambalaya— all to die for, no notes! Every dinner we have eaten at Chez Hansi has been fantastic! In addition to the delicious food, the vibe of the restaurant is welcoming and intimate, thanks to Hans and Samira’s hospitality. We asked Samira to bake desserts for our wedding: lemon tart and chocolate mousse cake. They helped us figure out the portions and lent us their pan, knife, and serving spatula. Top quality service, excellent menu, dining room and kitchen feel like one, and the food was perfect! Like dining in Europe in all the best ways. Our table had the sweetbread, gazpacho (pictured), bone marrow with chimichurri, jagerschnitzel (pictured) and venison schnitzel both with spaetzle, and two very fresh desserts - the highlight being the lemon tart (pictured).
