“I was so excited to dine at Her Place Supper Club. The food, ambiance and service were exactly what I expected. I can only give 4 stars on food, however, because the scallops had grit in them. I thought it was just my dish and didn’t want to complain, but on the way home, my friend told me her scallops had grit too. That’s a shame. Other than that, it was a fantastic dining experience.“

“My first French cuisine experience did not disappoint. My son and I enjoyed a lovely meal and cocktails orchestrated by the best staff - Chef Clay, Beau (our server), and Alex(Bartender). From the first course I knew this was going to be one of, if not the best, dining experiences thus far in my lifetime. I highly recommend that everyone take the time to enjoy this fine dining establishment. You will not be disappointed.“

“Amazing experience at Mabu for New Year's Eve (and my husband's birthday !). We had the four course special menu and every single course was DIVINE. To start was a delicious cauliflower bisque, then I had some glazed carrots, the best coq au vin Ive had in a decade, and finished with a phenomenal creme brulee. My husband had the rack of lamb and said it was so tender and flavorful -he was definitely covertly trying to lick his plate. Ryan, our server was excellent as well. We are so happy we celebrated here!!!“

“I visited on the hottest day of July and had a seafood crepe. The flavor was delicious, it was rich with salmon and cream cheese as well as dill. I asked the cook for their recommendation and they suggested I order either the seafood or the chicken crepe. I did not get sick so they do store their ingredients very well, cook in gloves and wear proper attire. The next time I go to Center City, this creperie will be one of the top places to visit again.“

“What a gem! If you are comfortable with the premise that you are eating at a school, and many of those around you are on a learning curve, it is an exceptional meal. The servers are learning, and at times are slow as they sometimes need to check with more experienced staff people. That said, they were polite and responsive, and very easy to engage. The menu is slightly limited given the setting (would benefit from a vegan or another vegetarian- not pasta-entre), but excellently prepared and plated. A very good meal overall. Very fairly priced especially given how well the preparation was. We will be back. Informed that the menu changes every 10 weeks or so.“

“My only complaint is the brussel sprouts. They were either previously frozen or way too much sauce was used. When I think of charred brussels, a crisp leaf comes to mind. These were incredibly soggy and unappealing.
Either way, the wine was great, awesome music selection, great atmosphere and the bartenders are super personable and attentive.“
“We had a mixed box of Brownies from Sonia over the weekend and they were amazing. Would definitely recommend you try them if you haven’t already. I’m sure we will be placing another order very soon. We had the Double Chocolate, the Nutella and the Caramel flavours. Yummy. Thank you Sonia“

“This restaurant is a must see for any foodies living or visiting Philadelphia. The executive chef Sylva Senat was featured on top Chef and is a two times James Beard nominee, so he knows his way around a kitchen. Everything from the drinks, food desserts, vibe of the restaurant, and service were all outstanding.
For drinks, my wife enjoyed the city love and foreign exchange I really liked the Kronenberg Beer. For an appetizer we had the Pikliz A Griot -
Spicy Slaw, Twice-Cooked Pork Belly. Our mains were the Poached Wild Halibut and the 14oz Prime NY Strip with Truffle fries 🤤. We saved space somehow for dessert and loved both the La Forêt Noire and Tarte au Citron. I cannot wait to come back“

“We had a reservation for a large party on 10/30 and everything was spectacular. Our server was very accommodating with one of our guests with a difficult allergy and who wasn't fluent in English. Her patience was unmatched and all had a great experience.“

“No longer temp closed! I've been wanting to try this place. A good mix of pastries, cafe, and great food.I had the eggs over easy, good artisan bread toast, bacon perfect thickness, and the greens were dabbed with I believe a pesto or green savory spice dressing. Cafe au Lait, and a pineapple Jarritos. Perfect mix. I want to try their burritos but they were out today.“

“An old favorite but was disappointed this time...One of things we love about this place is the ever-changing menu and the interesting combination of ingredients and flavors. We started with the endive salad which was outstanding but it went downhill from there. The brioche was too crunchy and oily (but the escargots and tomatoes topping was very good); the enoki mushrooms were a little overpowered by the other flavors; the oyster mushrooms were quite charred; and the fish was overcooked. Drink-wise, also did not think much of the "void essence" cocktail - was a little bland for me. Service as always as excellent.“
