About Dasiwa

Dasiwa is a Korean-owned restaurant located near the Philly Museum of Art, known for its delicious dumplings. The menu offers various options, including vegetarian choices, and the lunch special sushi has been described as good. While the sushi may not be spectacular, the prices are considered reasonable. However, it is a takeout-only spot, and the inside has a cozy, hole-in-the-wall vibe. If you're in the Fairmount area, particularly if you're visiting the museum, Dasiwa is a convenient and tasty option for dumplings and sushi.

Dasiwa, what does it mean? Anyway, good food. The establishment looks more like a takeout, but the sashimi was fresh and delightful, and the sushi rolls we tried were well made.
Now that I found this place, it's another option besides UmaiUmai to dine Japanese in the Art Museum area. Around same price range as UmaiUmai, which has a more upscale feel to it.

Phone number doesn’t work? Pretty fair sushi, not bad.

It was close to philly museum of art & korean-owned, so i gave it a try. Needless to say, it was ok. Nothing spectacular. I had better sushi in Denton, Texas @ Sushi MottoThe price seemed reasonable, so I don’t know why people are saying it’s too expensive. It’s Sushi, what do you expect? You can’t trust cheap sushi, folks.
