I don’t eat pasta. Never have. I’ve never liked it.
I went to Fiorella because I like Marc Vetri and figured I’d find something on the menu to eat.
I did. It’s called rigatoni.
I’ve now been back twice and I destroy an entire bowl myself. It’s currently my favorite thing to eat in the entire city.
I cannot recommend it enough. In fact, if you’ve never been, I implore you to go.

This is among the best restaurants in the city of Philadelphia.
Vetri owned but uniquely and quaintly constructed, this mostly seasonal, small menu offers one of the most intimate, authentic Italian meals I have had since living in Rome.
I had a 2-person dinner with cocktails, an appetizer, 2 main courses with paired wines, and dessert, and the final cost was $162, for what anywhere else DESERVES a minimum of $250+.

From the moment we arrived, Victoria greeted us warmly and sat us right away. She suggested we grab 3–4 dishes to share at the table—an awesome idea. The gnocchi were hands down the best I’ve ever had—light, fluffy, perfection. And the pasta… moment of silence please… absolutely to die for. You can taste the freshness in every bite, and I loved that everything was drizzled in rich extra virgin olive oil.
10/10...
