Best tomato pie in Philadelphia.Nothing like a 5 star tomato pie and a draft beer.

Franco’s is a south Philly staple, probly ordered from here upwards of 200 times, was never less then completely satisfied. Pizza is phenomenal, especially the roasted pork or cheesesteak slices. Baked penne is delicious as well. Their just my favorites, but you really can’t miss on this menu. And btw one night a week (can’t remember which) they turn into a proper dinner spot with live opera (random and awesome). PLEASE RE-OPEN FRANCO

Someone mentioned this place may have closed and I am VERY sad to hear this. Used to hit this spot all the time when I lived in the neighborhood, great pizza and food - their fra diavlo sauce was my favorite. They used to have a great jazz piano player in there too, man I hope this place ain’t closed…

They had some of the best pizza in South Philly

I had less than a month of living a block from this place before Covid took their oven-baked perfection away from my lips - possibly forever.This new spot better just be a revamped name for the same old operation, or else, i’m joining ISIS to avenge Franco AND Luigi being ripped from my intestines way too young. ????

Best Pizza period

Haven’t been there since pre-covid and it looks like they’re temporarily closed but they serve up delicious classic slices. Buffalo chicken has the right amount of breading and buffalo sauce. Owner can be intense but entertaining. Staff is very friendly.

So having not had your pizza since 2002 back in February I came and I was so impressed your product is CONSISTENTLY DELICIOUS AND the texture of the crust was as amazing as I remembered! SAUCE IS TANGY AND SWEET! NOT GREASY NOT SALTY

The meatball and stuffed shalls at this jawn was awesome

My boyfriend and I came here after reading the reviews and we were excited to eat here. The pictures indicate that there is seating inside. There is NOT eating inside. We walked inside and barely had time to orient ourselves before the man behind counter shouted "No free heating in here, buy something or get out." We hadn't even managed to see a menu yet before he assumed we were loiterers. Can't say anything about the food but we ended up leaving because he was so rude. Will not return

Really, really good food. Service was decent as well. Nice ambiance.

italian food at this spot - super tasty. one of the best spots in the area. service is consistently good. it has an awesome atmosphere. i can see why they have so many great reviews.
