I stopped in for a box of pastries one morning and got a tour of the display case from a very kind woman behind the counter. Everything looked great, I chose an assortment, and just as she was closing the box, I asked for their specialty, a donut sandwich filled generally with the same ricotta filling they use for their cannoli. Holy holy holy.The hype ain't hype. It's a perfect thing.
Best go to donuts in South Philly. You can find this hidden gem in the heart of SP off of Ritner. The moment you step in your taking back by all the delicious fresh baked pastries that were made. Its got a real old school vibe with made to order filled pastries/donuts and taken care Dont waste your time going to those "franchise" stores for a donut/pastry before you start the crazy day. Come here to Frangellis and try everything! You wont regret it.

I was amazed watching my custom filled jelly donut with choices I didn't realize existed. You really need to bring your kids to see ? this magnificent bakery. The jelly donut was the best that I ever tasted and it had so much jelly I am lost for words to describe. I highly recommend ?
