Simply incredible. As I indulged in my dinner each bite exploded with flavor. Although I did not want to share, I gave a bit to my friends and they offered me money for additional bites. Declining, I disregarded my surroundings and shoveled more food in my mouth. Chicken and fries falling out of my mouth; I was nonverbal. My son and I both agree the combo of their chicken, sauce, coleslaw and pickle on the bun was probably one of the Best hot chicken sandwiches. I loved the hot honey chicken and my preteen got the mild. He is not a coleslaw guy, but even he it was the perfect combo. If you love cheese get the extra cheese, but if not the fries are good as they are. Special #4 sandwich and tender might be the best deal. Special #1 was the perfect lunch.
I can't tell you how refreshing it is to find a place that is both excellent and inexpensive. For $15 you can get two chicken sandwiches and a good amount of fries. Many other places charge $15 for a single sandwich.But not only is it inexpensive, it is delicious. We've been several times now, and the chicken is always freshly fried and cooked to perfection with the perfect balance of jucieness and crispyness.
