I decided to order dinner from this decent restaurant for the first time on 3/8/24. When I say it was finger licking good; there is no lie in that. I ordered through DoorDash and my driver was quick with delivery service. When I received my food everything was as described from the menu. Everything was also a first try except the Naan, which is one of my favorites when it comes to Indian cuisine. The Quail was exquisite especially paired with the Turmeric spices; that's one dish I will be ordering again. Lastly the "tasty" Pakoras. I didn't know a dish like this existed until ordering from Indian Char House. Another favorite of mine. If you are looking for a decent dine in, be sure to give Indian Char House a try!

The lentil soup is deliciously complex. I really hesitated to order this one, but am very glad I did. My only feedback is, I would like little bit larger serving. The plastic container seemed more dessert-sized, like a rice pudding container. I think soup is better suited for a lined cardboard soup container.

This is one of the best spots in the whole city! I have never had more flavorful or well cooked chicken anywhere else. the people who work there are kind and the atmosphere is very calming. not to mention the prices are unbeatable. If you are able to, make this spot a must-visit!!!

The place is great for barbecue dishes and taste really stands out compared to other places in this area. The service is kinda slow and they might need to work on hiring the support staff but no complaints with the food. Maybe take out would seem like a good option.
I have been living in Philly for two years, this was the best restaurant for Indian food, I liked the tandoori of this restaurant very much and the chicken curry is alos amazing!!!.
The food was so good and we thoroughly enjoyed our food. I tried spinach paneer and garlic naan, both were so good. I highly recommend the restaurant. Apt spice level. Limited vegetarian options.

I'm very disappointed about my order, I ordered chicken tenders, but they send me a chicken frozen nuggets, also I ordered the cream cheese naan, it was with no cheese, no silverware, I called them to talk to them they hang up on you.
