It was Sunday afternoon about 1:30 pm . As we entered the restaurant you could see that they were short staffed . No one at the door to greet us for several minutes and lots of empty dirty tables , with dishes etc . The waitress was friendly enough and did the best she could . The turkey burger was ok , calamari and cheese steak egg rolls were good . I wouldn't rush back , someone should have apologized for the delays etc .
I think there must have been a staffing problem the night of our visit. We were seated for about 20 minutes before a waiter approached our table. And the service was abysmal for the duration of our visit. I am a "King of the Hill" member, have dined here MANY times, and have always been pleased with the food and the service. Hopefully this was an "outlier" experience and not the beginning of a downward spiral.
We enjoyed a family dinner for six on a weekday night at this very convenient location. Burgers for all were succulent and cooked to order with Cheeseburgers and the Iron Luxe burger being the most popular choices. Fries were perfect. Beers and one Shirley Temple were very nice. Our server, Barney, was very welcoming and attentive, particularly with answering questions regarding the menu and clean-up of a spilled beer.
