Wanted to test the Iron Brewery weekday special 2 for $30 ( and add some beer with it)! Unfortunately was told by our waiter they decided to stop it without any notification bait and switch? Our waiter was somewhat “detached” so we split a so so pizza and tried to get his attention to pay - Overall experience was so so - Not very busy - perhaps my experience was shared by others?
The worst hostess on the city of Philadelphia. I was embarrassed that I decided to take our friends from California to Iron Hill. Our waitress, Mimi (?) made up for it though. Very sweet and responsive. The hostess never smiled and when we very nicely asked for a quiet table she couldn't have been more indignant. She obviously was very unhappy to be working.
IronHill used to be a great restaurant, quality food and great beer. Took some out of town friends for a quick lunch before they headed home on the train. My vodka tonic was spot on. The grilled salmon salad came soaked in dressing, I ate as much as I could. Southwest salad was good according to my friend.
