Visiting Philly is always a challenge because there are so many awesome places to try, and I always want to hit up my favorites. I decided to break away from my favorite donut shop to try this French bakery today based on the photos from other reviews of the chocolate pretzel. It's really a pretzel shaped pain au chocolat with roasted peanuts on top...I would call it Philly French, and it's epic! While in the shop, I couldn't resist getting the blueberry danish...
Croissant and raspberry danish were great. It was a cozy cafe. A staff was friendly but pretty unprofessional all the time. The food is delicious, but it's a shame that the service lowers customer satisfaction.

Update: I can't stop thinking about that hazelnut croissant. If I take a trip back to Philly it will be just for this croissant. For the love of pastry, if you have not been here you must go.
