Wandered it before we left town on Sunday. Exceptionally pleasant and friendly. Wonderful coffee and cool selection of different spices and olive oils.

A must try for any coffee and or tea lover!First off, know that this is not the place to sit, relax and enjoy your cup. That said, I'll definitely be back time and again to refill my personal stock of coffee and tea for the house.A large variety of ethically sourced coffee & tea from all over the world, plus some local Philly options! They know and care enough to ask how you make your coffee before grinding your beans so you get the best extraction. Their tea smells and tastes fantastic as well! 5 stars says it all.

Jake is the most kind, generous and infectious coffee enthusiast I’ve ever met. I don’t know much about coffee, but Jake took 20 minutes to tell me about the intricacies of the plant and his diverse coffee bean sources…. I was captivated the entire time. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Must visit if you’re anywhere near the Italian Market.

This is the only place we get our beans from. It's a bit pricey but so worth it, and it's always a treat going back and asking the owners for various recommendations. Especially love the wet roasted Italian blend for espressos.The male owner is a delight to talk to and one of the most knowledgeable people I've ever met when it comes to coffee. Friendly guy who's passionate about what he does.

First time here. Staff was very welcoming and made me feel comfortable. Purchased some Ethiopian coffee. I will definitely be returning.

I love the variety of locally-roasted coffee beans here, especially available in (Swiss water process) decaf. Super friendly and knowledgeable service. I'm so grateful this place is in my neighborhood!

Best coffee in Philadelphia

You can find exotic coffees, exquisite flavors and from different countries of the world. Also tea, olive oils and spices. Its owners are friendly people and they always explain everything about their products they know a lot about coffee. I love the place. I highly recommend it!!!

Fantastic establishment. I happened across their shop a few weeks back while visiting the Italian Market and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They suggested the Maple and now I purchase direct from them online. I would highly recommend 9th Street Coffee. Pricing is fair, customer service is great and quality of their products is second to none. Glad that I found this little shop in Philly.
