The sweetest owners! I came for the first time, and saw how much the regulars love the store. The whole ambience is very relaxed and kind. One of the owners recommended the chicken noodle soup, which was very delicious. They also gave me a free banana to go with my meal.
Jay’s is just an absolute staple in this neighborhood, I don’t think I could go without it. They are so friendly, personable, and helpful, and the food (both breakfast and lunch) is delicious. They also have pretty much anything you could ever need, which is beyond convenient.
I hysteric trying to find a notebook and pen for my medical internship and no one was open except for jays deli at the bright and early time of 7am. to my immense gratitude and relief they had exactly what i was looking for. jays deli, you saved me!!!
