Solid contender, in fact my choice, for best Mexican food / lil corner restaurant in Philadelphia! So good!!
The lady at the register was super kind and the food was delicious!
I had the quesabirria tacos with consome (broth). Omg. I'll be coming back.

Cute place.
Hubby and I stopped in to grab breakfast, before heading back home.
Hubby got the Cream Brulee French Toast. This was delicious!!!
I got the plantain French Toast. Topped with Nutella and Condensed Milk. There was hardly any Condensed Milk. The Plantains were not very sweet. But it was still delicious.
We both just had coffees. The food takes a long time. But it is mot fast food. So don't expect a rushed plate.

La Catedral Cafe & Restaurant offers delicious food, particularly praised for their breakfast burrito. Known for its friendly staff, this establishment feels very homey and welcoming, making it a popular spot in NoLibs for breakfast and dinner. Customers have highlighted the chicken torta Milanese and chicken burrito as highly recommended, alongside their green and orange sauces. New reviews emphasize the flavorful omelette plate and plantain French toast, showcasing the restaurant's variety. The quesadilla is noted for being cheesy and packed with flavor, while the Creme Brulee French toast is described as lightly sweet with fresh fruit. The Quesabirria Tacos with consomé have also received high praise for their tender meat and perfect seasoning. It is hoped that La Catedral remains a local favorite for years to come, as it is considered a hidden gem in the area.
