Hidden in the Rivers Casino is Sapore, an Italian restaurant that also serves good steak. We always have a great meal here and Diane is simply the best server. Will be back soon.
Nice ambience and food was just okay. The shrimp linguine was a tad salty. Drink was okay but way too much soda and the bread before dinner was warm but the bread itself I didn't like.
I was here a few weeks ago and had to return. It is a very good restaurant. BeingI am a food snob that is a high praise. Our apps were great, entrees great, desserts great. So you can see Great is the overall review.
Martorano's Prime Philadelphia offers a blend of Italian and steakhouse dining with highly praised dishes such as eggplant, calamari, chicken Martorano, Caesar salad, rigatoni, and steaks. The restaurant's service is often highlighted, with attentive staff providing excellent care. It is a popular choice for special occasions like Mother's Day or anniversaries, with staff going above and beyond to make these moments memorable, sometimes writing messages on plates and presenting sparklers. Guests can enjoy a beautiful view of the waterfront while seated in spacious booths, creating a romantic or elegant atmosphere.
While the restaurant can be a bit pricey, with dinner costs around $100-150 per person including drinks, many feel the quality of the food and service justifies the expense. Portion sizes can vary, but the Caesar salad is notably large and can serve multiple people. The ambience, especially with chandeliers, makes it suitable for romantic dinners or special celebrations. Guests have enjoyed meal highlights like the chicken marsala, which many found to be exceptional, and the lemon cello martini, which is often praised as a perfect ending. Despite occasional issues like running out of mussels or champagne, visitors generally appreciate the delicious food, attentive service, and the overall experience, making it a place they are eager to revisit.
