This is not my favorite style of pizza but it definitely seems unique to the Philly area. It tasted like a lot of the pizza I've had in the suburbs, medium thickness, lots of seasoning. I really liked the sauce. Also, it was HUGE! My boyfriend is obsessed with the queso de friar. I was NOT. I believe it's like a Mexican spin on Mozz sticks but it was very greasy. Overall, I think this place is worth a try, it's just not my style.
Ordered pizza from here twice and as of now this is the place we buy pizza from since it's close by. Pizza is fresh and tasty. We tried the Old Smokey and Bistecca Del Tartufo. Old Smokey was delicious and a pie I highly recommend! The Bistecca was good, but not great. We wish it had more flavor, a bit bland so we added additional seasoning to it. The place was nice, pretty empty but nice nonetheless. I got a plain slice and it was ok. Super cheesy, nice crust, and slice size is average. Overall, slightly above average tasting pizza.
