Martorano's Prime Philadelphia

Hidden in the Rivers Casino is Sapore, an Italian restaurant that also serves good steak. We always have a great meal here and Diane is simply the best server. Will be back soon.

Nice ambience and food was just okay. The shrimp linguine was a tad salty. Drink was okay but way too much soda and the bread before dinner was warm but the bread itself I didn't like.

I was here a few weeks ago and had to return. It is a very good restaurant. BeingI am a food snob that is a high praise. Our apps were great, entrees great, desserts great. So you can see Great is the overall review.

Really yummy pasta; my date had a chicken dish and also loved his. Off night when we went so noise was perfect. We had Emma as our server, very friendly girl and very knowledgeable about the menu. Thx Sapore!

Pre concert dinner. Meatballs were good as well as the Chicken Marsala and cherry gelato. Chicken Parm was not very good. It was too salty the tomato sauce way harsh and too much.

Ashley our server was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious. And the drinks were strong.

Angela, our server was the sweetest, most efficient server. She was very attentive without being overbearing. Her personality was friendly and jovial.

The food was better when the place was called Martorano's. It was a little bit of a let down.

The ambience was ideal for a romantic or special occasion. The chandeliers hanging from the ceiling were eye catching. Our waitress Emma was very attentive, sweet and well knowledgeable about the menu choices. I got the chicken marsala, side salad and grilled asparagus. The chicken marcella was to die. I was given an extra side of sauce with extra mushrooms that made the focaccia bread oh so dip-able. The sun-dried tomato butter paired with the focaccia bread had a robust fresh taste. Last but not least the lemon cello martini to top off the meal. I should've ordered a second. I will return.

The calamari was delicious but the portion was small. My husband enjoyed the strip steak and french fries. I had the eggplant, it was just okay. There was too much cheese (yes, I said too much) and the red sauce was less like sauce and more like watery chunks of tomatoes. The gelato and focaccia were excellent. I would eat there again, I just wouldn't get a dish with the red sauce.

I've never been treated so poorly in my life. The manager and server didn't want to serve us and treated us like we were beneath them because they messed up our food. Don't go there if you're a minority

We were there for dinner before a show. I arrived before my partner and the seated me anyway. I dine there regularly so am familiar with the staff and we talk. Once my partner arrived we were attended to efficiently. The appetizers were served and they were good. We were out in time for the show. My take away food was held for me so I wouldn't have to drag bag around with me. The dinner and show were both great.

My family and I dined at Sapore before seeing the Stylistics. Our waitress was amazing, very attentive. Drinks were good and apps were ok, very small portions. I ordered Eggplant Parm and they were under cooked. My family did enjoy there selections. It took a while to get our apps and food. We rushed out as the show would begin in 15 min. All in all it was a nice evening. I recommend going early as it took a lot of time getting our food.
