This was the second time in a couple of weeks that we dined at Melograno. Loved it! Both visits were what I would consider challenging for a restaurant. The first visit was with a group of eight, which they handled with ease. The second visit was with a group of five, and, due to another event, we had just over an hour to dine. Again, there was no problem. Being in 2 large groups, I was able to taste a number of their dishes, and all were excellent. The service was professional and attentive. I highly recommend this charming BYOB!

Extremely good food, very aromatic. I just think that the environment (service, vibe) can be upgraded more to match the food quality. Italian friend said this is an authentic place so I gave it a try and liked it.

We came here for dinner on Saturday night and had a reservation. We were quickly seated and waited on. The restaurant is BYOB, which is awesome. We brought a bottle of red wine with us. We got the mortazza flatbread as an appetizer and it was amazing. Between the 3 of us, we ordered: fazzoletti al ragu d'anatra, granchio & agnello for entrees. Everything was delicioussss. We also got the tiramisu & creme brulee for dessert with macchiatos to end the night, and it was all fantastic. Our waitress was very attentive, and the host was polite. Definitely recommend:)

I loved my experience at Melograno. The food was delicious and service was so welcoming! I cannot wait to come back and try some more of the menu. I loved where we sat because we could see the kitchen at work! It was truly a fantastic dinner :)

The food was really good here. I went to Rome earlier this year and it’s definitely the place in Philadelphia that I’ve gone to that has gotten closest to the taste I had over there. The restaurant itself is a little loud and sometimes it is hard to hear, but the food is so worth it. Service was very nice too.

My friend and I sat outside last night for a small bite, we had the meatballs and burrata for appetizers and shared the duck ragu pasta dish, all of which were really good (presentation, quality/taste, and portion size). The service matched the quality of the food and atmosphere which I claim is hard to find at most places. Our server forgot a proper reset but was prompt with correcting it and was very friendly and welcoming. The manager also came to check on us which is always a good sign. I’d highly recommend this place!

We had a great experience at Melograno celebrating a birthday. The atmosphere was really good and the food even better. Everything tasted very fresh and we liked the different choices of appetizers. My girlfriend had the homemade beets ravioli which was incredible and I had the octopus. Highly recommend this place!Homemade pasta and BYOB is always a bonus!

Super tasty and authentic Italian food. The pastas were to die for and we got the special fig salad that was amazing. BYOB. Very nice service. Perfect evening. Will definitely be back!!

Dinner was excellent and delicious! Service was rightly attentive. Noise but not too bad in the back near the kitchen. Disappointed in the tiramasu. Didn't taste enough coffee and it was served in a bowl that hides its beauty.

This restaurant serves some of the best food and has some of the best service in Philadelphia. We have been there 4 times, and each time, it is outstanding. My only complaint is that on Saturday nights, the noise is deafening. I could not hear the other diners across the table from me. Don't go Saturdays, and you should have a wonderful delicious dinner.

Hidden gem!! Beautiful restaurant and BYOB is always an enjoyable experience. Our group started with the octopus, gnocchi, and burrata. All were great shareable plates but the octopus was our favorite. Three of us got the tonnarelli with crab meat and Calabrian chilis and it was very tasty. Was a lot creamier than we expected based on the description but we were pleasantly surprised. My friend got the duck ragu pasta which was also very flavorful.

Chic Meets Old World in Bespoke Italian EateryMelograno is a rare symphony of elegance and comfort, mixing Roman street food with haute cuisine in a setting that manages to be swank and comfortable at the same time.Every dish that arrived at our table was a triumph of thoughtful design and flawless execution, delivered with friendly and impeccable service. My husband and I went for a special date night, and enjoyed:Tuna tartare, grilled octopus, “la pinsa” — Roman style pizza — cacio e pepe, squid ink pasta, and dessert: affogato for me and lemon-ginger crème brûlée with fresh blueberries for him. This was our first visit to Melograno, but it won't be our last!

We were fortunate to seated on a busy Friday night. They brought out bread with olive oil, which is always my favorite. The service is exceptionally welcoming. For appetizers, we chose burrata, and our main courses included Amatriciana and the night's special – black fettuccine with shrimps. The evening concluded with tiramisu. The place is BYOB, so bring your favorite wine and enjoy the atmosphere and the food.I enjoyed everything, although I found the tiramisu a bit too creamy for my taste with addition of chocolate chips. I prefer the classic recipe.
