“We ate here for the first time and I think this is the best place I’ve ever eaten. The staff was super friendly, they were very accommodating to my gluten allergy, and the food portions were huge. I really enjoyed everything. I wish they would open a restaurant on the Florida Panhandle or honestly anywhere within 8 hours drive of us.“

“Highly recommend Dizengoff if you’re in Philly and craving authentic Middle Eastern flavors. This cozy spot, from chef Michael Solomonov delivers Israeli street food vibes with serious flavor. The Lamb Köfte wrap was amazing! 🌯 Fresh lamb meatballs, chopped Salad, Sumac Onions, Tehina, Israeli pickel, hot pepper, wrapped in pita Isralie Breakfast also a MUST try! Za’atar Omelette, Labneh, Schug, Olives, Chopped Salad, Pita Our table shared an unbelievably smooth and rich plate of Hummus Yerushalmi 🥙 Beef, Baharat, Pine Nuts, Parsley, served warm with pillowy, freshly baked pita that’s worth the trip alone. The atmosphere is casual and energetic, with friendly staff who are happy to explain the menu. WOULD LOVE TO SEE THIS CONCEPT IN BALTIMORE! 🇮🇱 ממש טעים“

“We didn’t get to eat at Zahav - but got the next big thing and ordered the Lamb Meal from gold belly with salatim. It was DELICIOUS!! Best lamb we have ever had, so delicious. Salads were yummy, hummus well done and could easily feed 6 adults. So. Much. Food. If you can’t make it to the restaurant- order the kit from Goldbelly and treat yourself!“

“I tried the salta here — and it was great — but the lamb Fahsa? Oh my god. Absolutely incredible. Perfectly seasoned, rich, and so filling. The bread portion was exactly what it should be: generous enough to fully enjoy the dish the way it’s meant to be eaten.
As a non-Yemeni Middle Easterner, this was my first real experience with Yemeni food, and I was blown away. I was so impressed that I later tried a Fahsa at another Yemeni spot just to compare — and it wasn’t even close to what I had here.
The atmosphere here is phenomenal, but not in the overdone, “look at our décor” kind of way. They don’t rely on flashy visuals or gimmicks — you walk in, order your food, sit down, and the focus is entirely on the food and the experience. That’s how you know a place is truly good.
The service was also top-notch — friendly, attentive, and genuine. You really can’t get any better than that.
If you’re looking for true, authentic Yemeni food, this is the spot. This is the spot. Whether you’re a tourist or someone craving proper Middle Eastern Yemeni cooking with the right portions, Hadramaut delivers every time.“

“The smoothies here are so good! Fresh, flavorful, and not overly sweet like some places. They were super refreshing, perfect texture, and didn’t taste artificial at all. You can tell they use quality ingredients.
What really stood out though was the staff. Everyone was really friendly and patient
Overall, it’s a chill spot with great service and even better smoothies. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re in the area or just craving something healthy and tasty.“

“I grew up on homemade Middle Eastern food made daily by my parents, so I’m very picky when it comes to authenticity. I’ve tried a few places that just didn’t hit the mark—but AL SHAM in Chalfont is a straight 10/10!! They serve real Arabic bread (pita)—not tortillas disguised as pita like you find at other places—and their homemade Lebanese toum (garlic aioli) is the real deal. One bite of their falafel wrap instantly transported me to a boardwalk in Lebanon, overlooking the Mediterranean—complete with fresh bread, Lebanese pickles, and those perfect pickled turnips. The meat is 100% Halal and you can taste the quality. Flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. **This is the kind of spot you want to support. We’ll be back again and again—do yourself a favor and try them ASAP**“

“The restaurant was empty, so myself and my partner were able to get good seating. The service was excellent and the portion sizes are huge. And all I had were 2 side orders! We did order an entrée, and the size of it was good too. 5/5 highly recommend!
PS: They do NOT serve alcohol. The policy is BYOB!“

“I dined in — everything was beautifully presented, really clean and professional. I had lamb shashlik and lyulya kebab — both were amazing: juicy, flavorful, and the portions were big. I finished the first one easily, but could barely get through the second — that’s how filling it was. The meat was tender, perfectly grilled, and not greasy. Great service and nice atmosphere. I’ll definitely come back!“

“Saad’s has one of the best cheesesteaks in the city. Yes, you heard that right. The halal nature of their cooking means they have the finest meats, cheese, and bread. The steak was very flavorful without the greasy mess that a lot of others have. The fries are amazing, too. The place is a little small so getting it to-go is recommended. All-in-all, you can’t go wrong here.“

“Everything we ordered was so fresh, portions so large we had to take a lot home. They even went to effort to find us tabbouleh when they thought it was sold out and was it delicious. Our party included one vegan, one vegetarian and one mainly veg. Special mention to the pita, a cloud of wonderfulness, and the ginger juice, a spicy, sweet, delicious treat. We'll be back soon!“
