We met friends for dinner before a show. The food was delicious. One person in our group said the fish and chips were some of the best he had ever had. The service was quick and attentive.

Trash. 8 of us show up ready to spend our hard earned money and this young brunette with glasses working in the back instantly gives us a disgusting smirk. Sh gets her entire group that she’s serving at the bar turns and stares as well. It gets worse. Some man walked up to us and kindly asked what we wanted we said only drinks & then she tells him she REFUSES to serve us and they said we had to leave. Mind you it’s 12:30 they close at 2AM tell me what we did wrong. Was it cuz we sat ourselves? We didn’t know any better… terrible petty childish behavior will never go again. And fire that bartender.

The first time experience I had with this place was when I placed a take out order. I went in and waited at least 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged me (the staff only had maybe 2 or 3 tables), and then they made me wait 15 minutes to receive my order even though I gave them more them enough time and arrived well after they said my order would be ready. My second experience was a dine-in attempt, where the waitress gave me and my partner water and left and never came back to take our order. Again, there was only one other customer sitting at the bar and a couple sitting at the table behind us. We waited so long for the waitress to come back, even stood up and went to the bar area to try to flag them down. Ultimately we ended up leaving and going to another restaurant. The staff here is too busy socializing or doing whatever else to tend to their customers.
I use to go to Moriarty's frequently 20+ years ago, often for wings. I haven't been back in 20 years and stopped in tonight during happy hour. Great beer specials, 1/2 off all drafts. Happy hour is offered at both the bar and tables. After all these years, their wings are still excellent and did not disappoint. Good food, solid service, great decor and vibe. Still an awesome Philly staple!

This was our second visit but sharing pictures including our first time. I had the pork chop which was very tasty! I also had a Diet Pepsi and carrot cake. Enjoyed my dessert as well. My husband had the shepherd’s pie and the bread pudding. Our bill came up to $80+ (with tip). Last time we had the potato skins which my husband enjoyed and he had their stew while I had the fish and chips. We also ordered the bread pudding. I also liked the fish and chips.
