One of my Philly faves... Low tow, good wings, good beer. They did rush my Guinness but I will let that slide. Cool location and fun vibe.

I don’t know where to start! The food was terrible! I got the Shepherds pie 🙁 it was dry, they used can vegetables, and it was just that on a little dish with nothing else. When I asked for a roll or something. He offered me sliced bread from the supermarket. My sister ordered the cheesesteak and it was AWFUL if I would have went in the back I would have found an empty box of Steakums! It tasted just like it!!! They didn’t even drain the grease. The roll was saturated with it and a big puddle under it. Even the mozzarella pieces for our appetizer were soaked in grease. Even the waiter didn’t “notice “ that we barely ate anything and when he asked us during our meal how it was I started to tell him and he already walked away saying “good “ We payed our bill and left, disgusted. Didn’t even think of complaining then because the way it was going, I don’t know what they’re capable of. I had to give one star because it won’t let you put ZERO! They should be ashamed to call that place an Irish Pub, insulting. 🙁🤮

Used to be 10/10. Went for 15+ years routinely and moved away, went back and the wings have downsized by 50% and service was slow even on a slow evening

Old school Irish bar with a Cheers feel to it. Working in the neighborhood and limited dining due to finishing late (9 PM on a Tuesday) The host let us choose where to sit as it was quiet, they quickly filled our drink requests and took our order. Burger presented perfectly and was great tasting. Their wings, unique as they are whole wing, came with the classic Moriarty’s sauce (their version of Buffalo mild with a hint of heat) came out hot with a nice crispness to the skin and were as good as I remember from 20 years ago (This place has been here forever!) friendly bar tender, very neat interior with many old advertisements on the walls and some play bills from the Forrest Theater next door (I recall more playbills in the past) bar filled in with patrons as we ate and the bar tender happily kept conversations with those looking to chat. Enjoyable experience and glad for the late night grub, will come back again!

It seems like a cool joint, but they wouldn’t serve me. Even though the kitchen closed at 11 pm, at 10:50, she refused me service. She was gracious enough to point me towards another bar at least. Let’s hope they honor their hours.
