If my recent visit was an example of the way New Canton does business then this place is CRIMINALLY underrated on Maps at the moment. The food was fast, it was cheap, and it was damn good.I'm not usually very enthusiastic about Americanized-style Chinese takeout, but I had a bite of some General Tso chicken that I had picked up for my husband, and I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed it. Picked this place as mi wife had come in previously to chinatown in Philly and wanted a quick bite and inexpensive take out. This time we eat in and got a table for 5 ppl sometime about 130pm. We were near independence hall, hot and humid day and we were looking for a quick bite. They literally gave me vegetable fried rice with no vegetables bc I asked for no onion, when they “fixed” it all they did was add chopped lettuce like what tf. There was no broccoli no carrots no peas nothing. Clearly scammed me out a couple extra dollars. And the shrimp in the rolls wasn’t cleaned.
