I ordered the tilapia fish platter with jollof, onions and pepper sauce. The fish was well prepared and I enjoyed the sauce and onions. The plantain was nicely fried too. The jollof however was OVERLY smoky indicating the pan was likely a bit burnt. The taste impacted the entire dish. Was bummed about it because I love jollof.

I came down sometime in (May) had the opportunity to dine at this hidden African restaurant in Philadelphia, and it was an incredible experience from beginning to end. It’s truly one of those places that feels like a hidden gem. The food was fresh, flavorful, and clearly prepared with care. Every dish was rich in authentic African flavors, perfectly seasoned, and served in generous portions. You can tell that the recipes are made with tradition and passion. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The staff was friendly, attentive, and happy to answer questions about the menu and offer recommendations. If you’re looking for authentic African cuisine in Philadelphia, I highly recommend giving this place a try. Whether you’re already familiar with African food or trying it for the first time, you’re in for a delicious meal and genuine hospitality. I’ll definitely be returning and bringing friends and family with me.

I came to this restaurant with a good good friend of mine one of my dearest friends and when I say the food was excellent the food was excellent, but what I want to first say and be clear or was the customer service in any restaurant the food could be really good or really bad, but if the Customer service isn’t good, it messes up the whole atmosphere. This young lady has proven that not only does she cook good food she has great customer service. I would recommend This African restaurant to anyone it’s one of the top fives in the city. Keep up the good work.

Hands-down, the best African food I’ve had in a while. It’s very hard to find a close by African restaurant. Especially a good one. I’ve gone here on many occasions, whether it be getting it delivered to me or picking it up myself. I will continue to go here. Every chance I get. I love when they pop up On my Instagram, it reminds me to go back and support the business.

Don’t waste your money, my son & I went & we got the all u eat buffet which came up to about $75 excluding drinks & fish( separate charge). Now soon as I walked I wanted to walk back out because I didn’t smell anything even tho they was actively in the kitchen cooking, all the food was bland no seasoning, herbs or spices the potato greens are just collard greens with chicken & palm oil the pepper sauce it not even close to being pepper sauce more like the hot oil u get from the Chinese store. If you want real authentic African food this is not the place to go
